I don't think she kills him though. I think she just hits him with the beam that allows someone else to kill him. And I suspect that will be a combination/teaming of Butcher and Ryan.

And in all honesty, if that's how it plays out I would be cool with that. Because it would bring Butcher and Ryan back together, which is a nice arc for the Becca angle since she is connected to both of them very closely.

And I don't think Kumiko playing a big role in harming HL is a bad thing either. She's been the only supe (except after Butcher took the V) on the Boys' side for almost the whole show, and has saved them numerous times. It's not some Mary Jane sort of thing...she is a legit badass and has been very involved since early on. And we know the SB chest laser beam thing doesn't kill a supe, it simply removes their powers to be killed.

But IMO this show is very much all about Butcher, and he's been the only one who's goal has been to kill HL, moreso than anybody else (MM is a close second I suppose).



I also am not a huge fan of Maeve coming back and having any sort of major part in killing HL. Sure, bring her back and let her get a shot in, that's fine. But she's been gone for multiple seasons at this point so her having a large part in it would feel cheap to me.

It was ok. Not terrible but not great. Kind of predictable.

Agree. Although I was half expecting the show to come full circle and have Starlighter get hit by a bus or truck.

I went to the Butcher/Homelander stuff to see how that played out. Then I saw the Butcher/Hughie stuff. Wasn't really interested in anything else

This is exactly how I felt, it's not awful, it was a safe ending. I'm glad it's over. I doubt I will watch any offshoots unless they start getting good reviews.

This ended like a damn marvel disney show. Where is the show we got the first 3 seasons?

Frenchie's funeral being nothing but a-hole jokes

Sage got to walk off into the sunset when she was one of the worst people on the planet.

The kids being sent off to canada before a planet deciding battle after one of them was touted as powerful enough to stop homelander.

Annie fricking off to kill deep instead of being there for the final fight...the deep still siding with homelander after everything....(I seriously hoped he'd free Soldier Boy or at least stand up to homelander and get killed)

MM somehow is strong enough to hold a ball gag against Oh Father's mouth... his arms should've been ripped off. (Also MM and Hughie's plan against Oh Father being guns...really?)

Oh Father saying they ramped up security in the white house...the ramped up security was a guy with a gun and some airhorns and once they got into the white house...nothing?

Force Ghost Frenchie giving Kimiko the power to depower homelander. (I seriously thought it was the psychics fricking with her)

The fight scene in the white house was WAY worse than the fight scene in season 3 between Soldier Boy/Hughie/Butcher v Homelander...and homelander was WAY WAY more threatening in season 3 than in the finale. His lasers cut Kimiko in half before and yet didn't do shite to anyone in the finale. He is shown to be almost as fast as A-Train but can't get away from Butchers tentacles?

Terror just randomly dying in his sleep making Butcher go even more genocidal. (although he was right to want to destroy Vaught after all that)

the final slideshow being the cast and crew literally flipping off the audience lol

This whole season should've been Homelander as a god not just building up to it for the last 5 episodes and having him fall apart during his first speech as god.

The only thing missing to make this a disney show ending was Hughie telling the president that he has to do better.

Even when he sent the Musk-like character to space they do it off-screen. Why not show it? Do something different than the same ole fight stuff. But no. He just says that’s what he did. Lame.
