Yeah, I thought the chase scene was bad. This episode was a bit of a let down after I really liked the first two (especially episode 2).
The chase scene felt like Back to the Future.

I still like the series but that was the weakest. How the hell can that much talent be in one room watching the final cut and think that the last 10 minutes was good? Good god those scooters and G.I. was horrible

They didn't show her body, like they did for the chief, so I think that's a safe bet.
ETA: I felt like after the investment of time in the Tuskens of the first two episodes, the payoff of the burned out encampment was lacking. I didn't necessarily see it coming (probably should have), but it also didn't seem to have as much gravity as I thought it would. And I, like some others in this thread, was feeling bad for the Tuskens that died on the train.

The tentacle people are known as Twi'leks and are from Ryloth. They can use the tentacles to gesture each other.

Fett arriving to the slaughtered Tusken village was a call back to Luke coming back to see his aunt/uncle being killed I think.

They are actually a weakness. I don't think there have been many powerful twyleks, but there was maybe one Jedi. They are usually dressed like hookers.

Along with Anakin going ham on the Tuskan Raider village.
I feel like the more one appreciates callbacks, Easter eggs, and the general weaving more of canon and EU together the more they like Fett. People that don't notice them or care about these things the less they like it. Plopped cold at the beginning of Fett most people would not like it.
As for the mod Skittles scooter club it is absolutely out of place but I haven't judged that yet because there may be a backstory to be revealed that explains the choices. So far Fett has chosen not to contemporaneously explain everything, the explanation is meted out later.

I think the first episode should have been longer to get more of the story going, you could have easily recut episode 1 and 2 to make this happen.
Everything about the street gang has been cringeworthy. The execution of the droid parts, the bikes, that chase scene, t some street kids can take on a gladiator wookie. It just doesn't fit.
I think overall the show will be watchable, but that chase scene was bad. I still love just watching the Star Wars world even if some of it is not so great.

We got to see a pissed off Wookie kick some arse. I really like the Krssantan character and look forward to seeing what they do with him. We also got introduced to this rancor that Boba says he's gonna ride. Interesting storyline there. That's all good stuff in my book.
The bad is really with the biker gang and specifically their speeders. I didn't love it but it wasn't as bad as anything from TLJ. The misses with this show and Mando are small misses.
But we are also getting cool small bit characters from some really good actors and I think this show really adds a different layer to the Star Wars universe. It feels like they are building towards something cool and I trust Faloni and Favreau completely.

That scooter "chase" was soooo bad. Each scooter being a different bright color automatically stuck out like a sore thumb on this planet and in Star Wars in general. The CGI was bad and those scooters were so bloody slow it was laughable. I honestly have lost faith in this show being any good at all. We all know it's going to end up in a war with the fishy people. I'm sure the Tuskan fighter will return with hundreds of Tuskans to fight along side Fett. Probably that Wookie too. This show would be so much better on HBO Max or something. Anything other than Disney. It's all cheesy fluff so far.
