I want to know who coined the term "review bomb".
Criticizing a show that has a diverse cast for DEI's sake doesn't make someone an -ist or a -phobe. It's an absurd take and these showrunners are using their inclusivity as a shield to try and hide from criticism.
If a show is legitimately bad, which The Acolyte is, then criticism is warranted. Take your pick what to call out, there are plenty things to choose from.

Well I mean fundamentally there’s no concept of time or distance. People just warp to wherever they need to be. The motivations are jumbled up and conflicting. There’s a ton of needless exposition and constant overlapping of information that’s already been provided while also having no explanations for pertinent, procedural aspects of the show. And that’s even before you get to the contrived plot that’s secondary to the messaging and Headlands “love story between sisters”, or the retconning of lore and characters. There isn’t one positive in the show.

Disney did because they do it in the opposite way to pump their number so in typical fashion for groups like Disney they accuse everyone else of what they do.

if the sith is the mom in dropping it to a half star.
They are trying WAY too hard to make it seem like the greasy-looking dude.
But maybe I am giving the writers too much credit. Out of all the guys from TPM Council they could have cameo that were canonically alive at the time. . .they choose a guy that has, at the very least, some backing to his not being born yet.
So maybe it is greasy poison guy

idk some i think it not picky but it is hard to defend the show because I dont think the plot has been amazing.
Like I’ve said before we’re 4 episodes in and i don’t know what the mystery is. thats not good in a mystery show.
I think some complaints are just petty. Ki-Adi-Mindi’s age and all that. Space fire was blown way out of proportion in a show that has
I think some complaints intentionally ignore some
in show explanations. How do Sol and the Jedi catch up to Osha? The Jedi knew where Kelnacca was and the sith had to find him. The sith is pushing Mae into conflict intentionally.
If the sith the Mom, and I have seen some stuff that makes
me think she is, then this show gets so incredibly lame
so incredibly fast .

Could be Headlands wife, she’s built exactly like Smilo-Ren and if they want to trash the Jedi, and they do, having a Jedi Master be the Sith Lord would work.

I want to know who coined the term "review bomb".
reused to write off audience scores for TLJ
Now it is just the go to if the audience doesn't like your stuff, but journos do

If the sith is the mom, why would she not reveal herself to her long lost daughter earlier rather than sending her on secret missions first? Unless she never actually cared for the girls at all, which didn't seem the case on the flashback episode.
I think it's Qimir as the sith apprentice and the master will be revealed in the finale.

Correct, this show treats traveling through hyperspace like fast travel in Skyrim.
quote:

Mae's goal to kill the four Jedi Masters who were on her planet when everyone died changes because of a really long walk in the woods.
quote:

Yorde tells Osha her whole life story as if she doesn't know.

retconning of lore and characters
Anakin now apparently not being the only one created by the Force due to being The Chosen One. The lesbian space witches did it first.
Ki-Adi-Mundi is 70 years old at the time of The Phantom Menace, however, he is alive and well during a show that takes place at least 30 years BEFORE his birth.
None of the math, maths.

I’ve seen some say people are nit picking and that would maybe be a legit take if it were a one off but it’s the accumulative effect of every detail in every aspect of foundational storytelling being neglected. And what’s worse is these things all seem to be this way because of pure neglect and disinterest. She doesn’t want to go through the trouble of correctly outlining a show, she just wants to put her self insert on screen and have people worship it. This woman has said she doesn’t know what she’s doing when it comes to film making and people should take her word for it because it’s obvious.

It changed because she never mentioned the name Sol to Qimir and he acted like she had. That's why her facial expression changed to concern and she trapped him.

But the level of writing we have seen, I doubt they have thought this much about it.
If it is the mom, it will be a "muh wimmenz oppression" or "muh wife"
That is the level of nuance and ability I would grant these writers.
Or maybe they are even worse, and it is greasy

She actually says “Osha being alive changes everything” but she never had any reason to believe Osha was dead to begin with. It’s a contrivance, it’s lazy.

If don’t disagree there is some review bombing but bad reactions will always get more engagement than positive or middling ones.
Importantly if this is purely review bombing because it’s woke and not just reaction to a very bad show, why haven’t other recent shows with woke issues not also review bombed like house of dragon, ahsoka, etc. something is different with this one and it’s that the show sucks. Characters have no logic, there is no coherence from scene to scene. It’s amateur hour. I’m glad some people can enjoy it. But also recognize a lot of people can’t because of significant issues.

And why in the hell would the Jedi let Greasy go when he was an accomplice to a Jedi murder? Thats the one of the dummest things I’ve ever seen but it’s just commonplace in this show. They can read minds, just get the info and jail the prick and if he’s able to block you then he’s a force user which is even worse. This show is so stupid.

Good point and for all those claiming it’s not “woke” then why did the star of the show call it woke in her dis-track to the fans?

-The person participated in the crime
-The person has a connection to the killer
-let him off with a warning
These are supposed to be space cops?
