People don't go out of there way to say somethign was great too often, but they will when it sucks.
How's my driving?
You think people called up 18 wheeler companies to tell them they were driving great? 95% of the calls were to bitch about the bad driving.
The global company i work for is the same way. We send reviews out to all our customers. The vast majority we get back are when something is bad, not good. We send out 1000 surveys and we might get back 30 or 40 of them, and 75% of them will be someone complaining about something.

The truth is, the "muh review bombing" argument always falls flat
No show that got "review bombed" is remembered well. The review bombers, if that is indeed a thing. usually get it right.
Ghostbusters 2016
TLJ
Batwoman
Rings of Power
Wheel of Time season 1 finale

Lol you typed out this entire paragraph when you could've just looked at Imdb and realized this isn't how it works for movies/tv shows.
Sort imdb by # of ratings and top 5 movies are
Shawkshank, Godfather, Titanic, Interstellar, LOTR
TV shows are
Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Stranger Things, Friends, Sherlock

decades for some.
Alleged review bombings usually occur at, or near, time of release
So his point is not only valid, but psychologically proven. People are more motivated to react to things they hate, than what they like
. It is the entire point of cable news, current print media, and social media algorithms.

You can review bomb it to an extent but 13-14% isn’t happening because of review bombing. Thats a consensus

i don’t think it’s a strong enough show to survive a review bombing
Especially on RT. 3 stars is rotten. and I thinn this show is a 3 star show. maybe 3.5.
It has potential to get better or significantly worse.

You guys can try to lie about the review bombing or maybe you are lying to yourself but the actual episode scores being much higher than the season paints the review bombing picture.

Compare it to Velma that had a 6% rating at one time while its viewership spike by 127%. Now The Acolyte has fallen to 13-14% rating along with a 31-37% drop in viewership. So how does this “review bombing” work exactly or is it just typical of Disney to use their own tactics, paid, altered and vetted reviews, as an accusation of what fans are doing?

You’re using a talking point you know nothing about and are using it as an excuse for an objectively bad show. Can you prove anything you’re alleging?
Posted on 6/25/24 at 9:28 am to Madking
If you don't realize why this show is being review bombed I can't help you understand.
Posted on 6/25/24 at 9:31 am to Corinthians420
So your answer is no, you can’t prove what you’re alleging.
Posted on 6/25/24 at 9:32 am to Madking
People who aren’t watching the show are giving it 1 star.
idk how else you think it works.

- can you prove that?
- can you prove nobody is giving it high ratings just to defend Disney?

That is certainly happening as well.

Kind of like how people are defending this show on here and haven't watched the show?
I went give it a review on RT. Second time i've ever given a review on RT. First time was whatever that second movie was after the Force Awakens.

Sure, just look at the shill media ratings by comparison. Like I said you can review bomb it to an extent but when it’s this severe it’s because most people who watch the show don’t think it’s any good.
Posted on 6/25/24 at 9:40 am to Madking
the thing about media critics is that 3.5 isn’t a great review but it qualifies as “fresh”
I don’t think this show is a 1 star show. I dont think it’s a 4 star show.

Yeah I'd put the show right at a 6/10 lol. If it was a 4/10 I'd quit watching.

I mean a 4/5 is watchable television.
every show i watch isn’t my favorite.
It’s not an episodic show so the next 4 episodes absolutely matter.
if the sith is the mom in dropping it to a half star.
