That's totally fair. I get what you're saying. But for me, it gave so much more meaning and importance to the original trilogy, to the point that it made my future rewatches so much better. A New Hope is transformed by Rogue One, because you realize just how much everyone sacrificed in order to destroy the Death Star.

The show is just not good. The story isn't bad, but it's not Star Wars.

I am not just contrarian.
I have pretty consistent beliefs. They just aren’t in alignment with the average poster on here.
I will sit there and tell you exactly what star wars movies and shows i do and don’t like.
I am not on here all the time defending The Sequels or The Obi-wan show.
I am not even saying that Rogue one and Andor are bad but. I am just saying why I don’t think they’re as good as the Mandalorian.

This show is ok. I will be watching. Its not as bad regarding woke as people were saying. Crapping on new star wars efforts is a new industry and to invested day one fans its completely absurd.

Honestly at this point, ok isn't going to cut it.. we've gotten to a point to where it's just watered down garbage that continues to ooze from Disney agenda brigade using the mask of a great franchise...
As a kid growing up and watching Star Wars I wished I could have had more .. Now as an adult I've gotten what I've wished for.... And wish it could be taken back, because unfortunately what we've gotten is bad, really really bad ..

The episode was boring. I'm not sure we need a 40 minute episode devoted entirely to a flashback when there are only 8 episodes per season.
