I like Rougue one and the first half and the fight scene of ROTS.
First thirty minutes of EP7 had promise. I agree R1 is top tier though.

Disney will pretty much have to rebrand or COMPLETELY turn the ship around somehow.

They are considered a woke joke.

Meme's are destroying them.

If you really believe Disney is gonna rebrand you are completely out of touch.

Inside Out 2 has made $1.4 billion dollars, I think Disney is gonna be ok.

Qimir was trying to bring Sol's saber to the Cortosis helmet so it would short out.

I mean, that makes sense, but he also could have easily just avoided the helmet and cut his arm off instead.

haha true, I'm glad they had Sol win the lightsaber duel. I really didn't think they would.

I can tell you aren't very bright based on your past posts.

But this takes the cake!

You are the one living in fantasyland.

You will need Blackrock, SSGA, and vanguard to drop their DEI policies before you ever see a Disney rebrand.

They own about 20% of all Disney stock and they have DEI quotas

Just finished it up. There was some good content to this show. I liked the angle of showing the cracks forming in the Jedi and the return of the Sith. I am not sure I like where it is going with Plageuis showing up. Since he was able to create life this seems like his first time trying this and it will eventually explain Anakin. That takes away from "The One" story line that we have had for so long. I suppose one could say this is all part of a cycle maybe? I criticized the initial concept as "the original twins story line but with lesbians" and I may need to hold that opinion now. Nonetheless, there is decent story here. That being said, they really couldn't get out of their own way. Disney just does not want to sift through the fanbase bullshite to actually address real problems with the franchise. Some crap just should not get through executives or editing.

-Her wife's acting was really bad. She took me out of any scene she was in
-A good lightsaber battle lost it's flow with the, as said before, Crouching Tiger wire crap. That should have been cut out
-They need to get ahold of their actors/directors and their opinions. The interviews only fueled the fire and gave them an uphill battle to begin with. Not a good thing with a struggling franchise. It doesn't need to be the gayest installment. Just not necessary in this social climate. Use actors that do not make comments on hot button topics in their careers or run their mouths about a franchise that they really do not know much about. How in the hell do you let her drop that song in the middle of this show?
-Ditch the tropes. My favorite was bringing the bumbling white guy to make her wife's character look bad arse. We are getting conditioned to notice this and it stands out like the girl power scene in Endgame

Hopefully someone steps in and we get a Season 3 of Picard type turn around. There is a good product in this if we get a second season

Please reread my post. Where did I say "they will rebrand".

I don't like picking on stupid people so I'm going to stop now.

you are the one that said Disney will "have to" rebrand as an option, despite the impossibility of that ever happening. Noone else was discussing a Disney rebrand, you came in here and brought it up. If you aren't gonna stand behind what you said why say it in the first place?

You should learn the difference between internet memes and how the real world works.

Iger has been trying to sell a rebrand for a couple years now. Marvel is actively doing it already and making hires that further support it. With Lucasfilm they’re so backed up because of constant delays with their stuff plus KK infesting it with like minded, talentless hacks it’s going to take a lot longer to make that turn around but the people in charge know it has to happen so it’s just a matter of when and will it be salvageable by the time they can do it.

Was a huge fan of Andor. You can watch the first 10 minutes of any of these Star Wars shows and know which ones were created by competent writers and directors, and which ones were done by talentless hacks. Tony Gilroy is so good at what he does. Is it that hard to find good writers in Hollywood?

You really can, right from the get go Andor looked and felt like OG Star Wars, even more so than the PT. You’re automatically transported to that galaxy far far away because athletically there’s no difference, tonally there’s no difference. When you watch acolyte or any of the others it just looks cartoonish and nothing connects in any way to the old Star Wars.

Tonally Andor and Star Wars are very different.

thats doesn’t mean Andor isn’t good, but come on.

Acolyte would’ve been better off on the CW where it belonged.
