No they aren’t and the only reason you think this is based off of one throw away line in ANH that was meant as an ignorant mockery towards Vader. Disney has taken that and used it to undercut the Jedi so of course a simp like you buys into it 100%. Don’t be such a tool.

Chastity is to keep them from attachment which leads to fear and so on which corrupts their power
Spirituality for them is more like a Tibetan monk where they focus their minds to be aware of the force. It has nothing to do with ideology which is what you’re incorrectly suggesting. Pre Disney you had to work hard, train your mind and focus to be able to access the force and that’s what this is for. Now all you have to be is selected and you have automatic powers beyond anything because it’s stupid but you prefer that
With politics they’re council, politicians go to them for clarity and they’re present so that violence is quelled. Again your understanding of all things pre Disney is non existent
