when asking about a badger alien with unclear gender.
1 time off screen. On screen what are we talking about?
the coven was as gay as any witch coven to be fair.

In a galaxy far far away, full of different species that you have no idea if they are girl or boy, not once has it ever been asked before, b/c who gives a shite.
Hell i actually thought Kelnacca was a girl, and would'nt have cared if she was. I also didn't go around asking, "is Kelnacca a girl or boy?" b/c it doesn't matter to me.
But it mattered enough to these idiot that they had to use a pronoun for a fricking pointless gopher.
That's the problem with these morons. They have this perfect world in Star Wars where no one gives a shite about your race or gender, but somehow we have to talk about it and point it out in these newer shows for some reason like race and gender matter. Just shut the hell up and write a good story with good characters.

I'm not scared, angry, hating, or suffering.
I'm dissappointed.
I'll forgot about this crap just as easy as i forgot about the sequel trilogy and Obi-Wan.

It's crazy that Empire Strikes Back Yoda is still the best he's ever looked.

Yall have gotten so upset about pronouns you’ve forgotten they’re a normal part of speech and always have.
She wasn’t asking this about an androgynous human. She was asking it about an alien she’d never seen before.
It’s like asking about a dog. Saves you from hiking up their leg.
They’ve used pronouns in every star wars movie. this isn’t woke.

If this show was written and run with someone with a deft hand, with more nuance and depth, this could have been really good. The components are there. It just fell flat on its arse even with Jacinto and Jung-Jae.
Despite my shitting on the writing, acting and directing, whoever was in charge of the action needs to do Ahsoka Season 2 and pretty much every Star Wars combat from now on. The slow mo of Sol and Qimir wasn’t great but everything else from that fight was really really good, as well as the fight in Episodes 5&7. I also found out that the fight choreographer was the same one who did the Vader fight sequence in Rogue One. So that tracks

Give me one example from any star wars show or movie where someone cared enough about someones gender to ask what gender they were?
Why does that matter what gender someone is in Star Wars? why does it need to be asked?
Oh I know why, so we can teach these toxic male star wars fans that the polite and proper way to ask this question now a days is "he, she, or they?" so you don't offend "them".
Would'nt it have been really cool if Leia had said "would somebody get this he/she/they out of my way" instead of saying "would somebody get this big walking carpet out of my way"?
For a naked male, Chewy and Kelnacca must of some tiny dicks, or maybe they reproduce some other way. You ever stop and think why no one asks these questions about wookies? B/C NO ONE GIVES A shite B/C THEY ARE AWESOME CHARACTERS.
and as I said, putting this into the show doesn't make me not like it. The terrible writing, acting and storytelling is why i don't like it.
When I give my complaints of this show, they won't be about pronouns, or lesbians, or whatever dumb shite that doesn't matter to the actual storytelling. I smirk at it's stupidity and move on, hoping that i get to watch a good show.
The girl power scene in the Avengers was extremely stupid. So what. It was an awesome movie. I'm not going to bitch and moan about that inconsequential scene. I smirked at it's stupidity and moved on and enjoyed the show.

buddy, you sitting here telling me you’ve never asking someone if their dog it a boy or a girl.
or asked someone what gender their baby is if it wasn’t super obvious?
This happens every day. because people use gendered speech when talking about people in the 3rd person.
you’re just fuming because you’re so triggered by nongendered pronouns for people that you forget we’re talking about fricking aliens.

Ever hear someone refer to a dog as they/them? Because that’s what happened in the show, not the scenario you just tried to analogize it to.

The Acolyte leads all television in engagement.

Oh so you have,
Again this is a universe full of aliens and your caught up in the they/them of a creature you’ve never seen before
this is so far from actually woke you’re just triggered.
it was literally a throw away “what is that thing” joke.

You don't even know what was asked in the show, so you're comparison here doesn't apply.
Osha/Mae asked "is he, or they, with us".
What a normal person would have asked is, if they were too stupid to realize the animal named Bazil wasn't a boy, "is he or she with us", or "is it with us"
To further lament how stupid it was, they were on a ship surrounded only by jedi, and this idiot has to ask if this animal "is with us". No Osha, he's a sith undercover. The question of gender, and if it's with us, were both stupid pointless writing. i say pointless. It had it's point, it just had nothign to do with the show.
and buddy, if i ask someone if their dog is a boy or a girl, I wouldn't ask if it's a boy or they, which is what happened here.

and you're forgetting that at no point in Star Wars has anyone given a shite about some aliens gender, until the Acolyte.

They have always used gender for aliens.
you act like pre Acolyte star wars was a genderless society.
they just always acted like they knew.
She doesn’t spend the season asking everyone their pronouns and introducing her self as Osha she/them/xe.
And you know that.
she asks the gender of an aliens she’s never seen before.
