Space opera, yeah. Fantasy, yes. If having space ships fly through space automatically makes something science fiction, then fine. But that's basically the only sci-fi element.
And yes, it is weird how much some of you care about any science in a fantasy show, especially when Lucas very clearly did not share that concern.

Lucas was always in favor of taking something that looked (or sounded) cool over something that made sense scientifically.
It's funny that the people trying to argue the science of this show makes it bad are the same people that already hated the show. It's some weird attempt to validate their opinion.

Roaaad said episode 3 would show u have to have same sex relations to use the force and talked about how woke the show would be.

It’s called spoilers and there was plenty of woke shite but you guys cried so much people just dropped it and focused on the objective failures in the narrative, logistics, characters, canon and writing.

I just heard so much about how it was gonna be super woke before the show and now that it is over I don't recall hearing a single person in the show called by pronouns or even any gay couples scenes or anything like that.

Yeah I honestly don't recall anything super woke in this show. Everyone thought the coven was going to be woke, but they really weren't.

They used they/them in ep 4 and there was a blooming homosexual relationship between Osha and Jecki that was referenced a couple times. We all know what the coven was all about, there’s a lesbian couple leading it and a trans person in the coven.

The morals that govern the entire narrative are based on current day woke ideology. Stenberg even talks about it in her dis track to the fans and headland straight up says it is.

The stuff must have been more subtle in the show than in the dies track.
