The last 2 don't exist to me. So:
1. Mando
2. Andor
3. The Acolyte
4. Book of Boba

Havent finished Obi-Wan or Ahsoka.

Mando beats Andor by a hair, more seasons and more action.

Where does The Acolyte rank among the live action TV shows? I'd rank them like this:

Andor
The Mandalorian
Ahsoka

The Book of Boba Fett

Obi-Wan Kenobi - doesn’t exist to me
The Acolyte - doesn’t exist to me, although I can very easily get pulled back into it if they make a competent season 2 around the Sith, not Osha/Mae, but I doubt they even get the opportunity to do season 2

1c The Mandalorian
1d. Kenobi

1f. Ahsoka

All the shows are equally excellent.

I agree it was bad but the final showdown between Kenobi and Vadar is probably one of my favorite lightsaber duels.

Except that it didn't line up with a New Hope at all, but sure, it looked cool, which is what Disney Star Wars is all about. Look cool over following already established Star Wars story telling.

Definitely not trolling.

I personally find all the nitpicking of this show hilarious, especially at the point we are questioning characters decision making.

It reminds me of in the avengers they have Thanos sedated and are about to get the glove off and then Star-Lord starts punching him in the face and he comes to and is able to fight them off.

Characters don't always make logical decisions, neither do people in real life. If something happens in the show/movie it's because that's how it happened in the story.

It lined up fine. New stories will change what the viewer previously believed occurred or didn't occur in those untold years. That doesn't mean it can't make sense.

Decisions don't have to be logical, but it would be nice if they made sense in the story. Star Lord punching Thanos is understandable because he learns that daddy sacrificed Gamora. When no one can understand why a character would act in the way they choose, that is poor writing. Had Peter Quill joined up with Thanos in the moment, it would have made no sense at all.

So while I agree with your point, I think some of the decision making points portrayed by characters in this show are kind of WTF moments.

And you’re not picking nits defending this show or are we pretending you didn’t participate in hundreds of posts of discussions about fire?

He pretends everything in the show is flawless.

And if there is a flaw, it is nitpicking, racist, ist/phobic to point it out. . .because he thinks the OT was bad for the filming limitations and effects they had available to them in the 70's and 80's.

Believe me, he (prolly a "they", tbh) isn't worth responding to

Anything that happens in the show is how it happened in the story. If something you deem "impossible" happens then just chalk it up as an unreliable narrator and move on. This story takes place hundreds of years in the past, of course some details will be lost.

Think of it like the Fire & Blood books or anything we see in ASOIAF that has different versions of the same event being told.

Episode 4 of house of the dragon showed a iconic moment in history and it happened in a completely different way than the books, yet you don't see the thread full of people bitching about it breaking canon or the lore.

So is pointing out inconsistencies nitpicking or not? I realize that about game of thrones and I have my own problems with that show including trying to redeem GOT with HOTD details that weren’t featured in any other media.

Pointing out inconsisties within the shows own story is not nitpicking.

Pointing out that a fire would look different in space or a lightsaber handle is bigger than in other star wars media or that electricity causing an explosion in star wars universe is impossible are all nitpicking. They need a quick and budget friendly way to portray these things happening to the audience. Why spend a bunch of time and money on a CGI fire that looks and behaves as fires behave in space for a 3 second scene when a real fire on a set can portray the same story notes?

Was anyone confused if they were watching a real story happening in outer space or a tv show about a fake universe until that moment?

He’s mad because people are pointing out that a Sci-Fi show got the Sci wrong lol.

I only mentioned the fire because you incessantly argued about it just as much as the next guy. I’m talking about stuff like yoda and Mundi appearing and then it affecting their characterization in the movies. Unlike HOTD that has changed things but at least they keep the story interesting. The acolyte was just boring.

The difference is GOT specifically tells you the narration is unreliable and provided through different perspectives. Star Wars isn’t like that at all.

But going by your logic you only enjoyed the show because the people who made it told you to.
