What are you incoherently saying because you're scrambling to come up with something?
The "vergence" was Anakin, not Tatooine. No, Tatooine being a desert planet doesn't break lore unless you're using Disney's nonsensical lore. It's just a desert planet.

So you pulled up all those quotes to agree with me that Tatooine being desolate was not lore breaking because of the planet in the show having a force vergence was full of life?
It was a joke dumbass. I didn't say it was lore breaking, nor did anyone else.

How does it break Disney's lore?

I've seen several equally idiotic things presented as actually lore breaking in this thread, were those all jokes also?

It doesn't break Disney's lore because Disney's lore doesn't make sense

I still can’t wrap my head around the light whip even in the Star Wars universe it doesn’t seem logical.
same. like I can't see a Jedi trying to use that in an enclosed space against an enemy... like can you imagine this getting used in a corridor on a ship or in a building and trying to defend yourself with it?
like can she toggle between regular blade mode and whip mode? either way, it's stupid in concept and even worse in practice.

The only thing that could possibly save this abomination if there’s a Plagueis or Tenebrous appearance in the final episode.
I don't even think THAT would save it. Trying to pull any more established characters from legends or other films would add further disgrace to what has already happened.
the only thing that can save this is a cancellation and a season two not seeing the light of day.

You think watching would make this show better?
This shite is proof of money laundering and done terribly so. Actual crimes are being committed here as well as creative malfeasance.
Cope harder. D+ made zero $ off of me.

Being the "chosen one" to bring balance to the force
Remember when Maul he asked Obi if Luke was the chosen and said he will avenge us.
So, in canon Luke has been referred to as the chosen one as well. Maul was seeking revenge on the Sith at that time.
My understanding is that finding balance was not Jedi vs Sith, but the Jedi's purpose was to maintain a balance between light and dark. The Jedi were not supposed to tip the scales to either side like the light where the Sith wanted to.

Where did you see Anakin’s birth in the original trilogy? There is still no concrete answer for Anakin’s birth

You were criticizing the writing of the show being awful, now you admit you haven't seen it. How do you judge the writing of something you haven't seen?

generally when people talk about breaking lore, they actually present the evidence of the lore breaking and talk about, you know, lore breaking.
I simply thought it was silly to say this vergence created all the life around them as they sat in a forest, while the vergence of life from Anakin came from a desert planet with no life. I don't care enough about it to really think about it being lore breaking. It was just a dumb thing to say.
This whole show is a joke.

I have watched close to 100 mlb games this year and I've seen others say they can't sit through 1.
this is a stupid example.
using baseball as an analogy; the show is like telling the batters they can use tennis rackets instead of baseball bats, the pitcher can hit people with the baseball and it's an out and the umpires are really the good guys and the batters are wrong for trying to hit the baseball.
the Acolyte sh*ts all over established rules and lore of Star Wars in the same way the above example sh*ts all over the rules and tradition of baseball.

Every show doesn't have to be treated like it's "Lost".
I'm not asking for this show to be treated like 'Lost' ... just tell me a god damned coherent story.

I doubt the folks that watched Gilligan's island back in the day questioned how every episode fit in the lore and how they were gonna get off the island.
because comparing a comedy show to a groundbreaking franchise that paved the way for sci-fi/visual effects/sound design and established a world and lore and rules for that world is at all comparable...

Gotta love shill talking points.
Shill -“if you don’t like it you shouldn’t be watching or talking about it”
Also Shill -“you don’t even watch so you can’t have an opinion”

I've seen people in this thread say it was lore breaking to make a helmet out of a material that exists in the lore. They were fine with the material existing, but as soon as someone uses it for something useful it's "lore-breaking"
You can't make this shite up. What was the point in it existing in the lore if it couldn't be made into anything useful?
Posted on 7/10/24 at 10:54 am to Corinthians420
The material doesn’t behave in the show the way it’s defined in the lore.

He literally criticized the writing of the show he hasn't watched.
I guess we'll get his takes on the cinematography of the show he hasn't SEEN next.

It hadn't been defined in the Canon lore, only the EU which the writers stated was not part of George’s canon.
