My god you people are just awful. What is the point of even watching?

I don't think anyone has said the episode had no redeeming qualities. It was an amazing battle, the visuals were stunning, Dany becoming the mad queen was a great choice, and Cleganebowl was very good. With that said that doesn't mean the rushed choices to get to where we are, destroying Jaime's redemption arc, Arya somehow surviving a nuclear Holocaust while every single person around her dies, Euron surviving the blast, and a myriad of other issues doesn't redeem the season. It was a good episode, and one of the best in the last 2 seasons, but isn't even close to being the best episode in the series.

Is there even a throne left for Danny to sit on?

Why the frick would Euron pick a fight with Jaime right there? I’m still trying to wrap my head around that because he should have just hauled arse once he knew they were fricked. That’s who he is.

Absolutely. That episode was hands down one of the best ever.

Beware the teenagers and light thinkers that downvote this thread.

I wish Jamie somehow would have killed her to save her from Dany’s wrath. That way the prophesy would have worked.

It’s clear people from the trailer park can’t appreciate complex character development.

Did not like.

Felt too walking dead like. It takes Arya 90 seconds to stand up, see a horse, and walk 10 feet to it?

I have had no problem with the season as a whole, but this show has lost that epic feeling for me.

This episode seemed to cause more new questions than answers.

Why is this a 6 episode season again? Does anyone know the actual reason?

It feels rushed, yet at the same time, not a lot is happening plot wise.

If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Loved this episode. Obviously wanted a happy ending, but that was never happening in the Game of Thrones.

Again the only people who hate this are mad their theories or their preferred ending aren't happening.

This wasn't true before, isn't now

This episode was fantastic. It had almost none of the cringeworthy, fast-forwarded problems of the prior few. Sure, I think we'd all appreciate having this episode broken into 2-3 episodes to get a little more development, but I have no serious complaints (unlike the prior few) and they did about as good as you can in tying up that many loose ends in a single, awesome segment.

Yeah it was absolutely about as good as I could’ve hoped for with all the issues I’ve had with the last few episodes and really last two seasons in general.

That was a great episode.

It was a really good episode. My only compliant really is I wish that had been the second episode and we are dealing wth the fallout / NK army rest of season

He was beyond fricked, pretty clear he wanted to go out in style at that point.

I agree I loved episode 5 and Dany is definitely the Mad Targaryen Queen. She used way more destruction than was tactically necessary to take her objective. And this is coming from someone that admires Comrade Stalin. Daenerys Stormborn is a Tyrant and she shouldn’t rule Westeros.

It was vintage GOT, pure carnage with no mercy. Probably should have been setup better but that is what it is at this point.

The main takeaway is if you let any woman get that horny and that hangry, very bad things are destined to happen.

The fricking fuk?

You openly admit you admire the greatest mass murderer the world has ever seen??

How is this even possible. This makes me beyond sick if that is a true statement. I'm stunned. Might as well said you admire Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, and Idi Amin as well.

If they did a good job developing the build up to this episode, it would truly be incredible

You are %100 correct. Ep 1-3 were good. Personally I felt 3 was above average.

4 was an abortion. Seriously it might have been the worst of the series.

5 was fantastic though. Top ten episodes. Only gripes were Euron surviving and Jamie not knifing Cersei.
