While I agree that it was visually appealing, the writing seemed like such a cop out. No effort to wrap the show up creatively.

Again the only people who hate this are mad their theories or their preferred ending aren't happening.

Imagine that, people who don’t like the story don’t like the story. lol

It was a great battle episode, got to wonder where the frick that was at for the long night episode. We know they turned down HBO giving them as much resources as they needed, why???????

I loved the plot twist and the turn of her becoming the mad queen.

Wasn't a fan of the way Varys goes. Seemed forced and too quick for someone who's been an integral part of many plots for 8 seasons.

Wanted to see Cersei die in a different way. After all she's done and caused, she goes out in a way that gives no justice to anyone.

Other than that, I liked the episode and the season thus far.

Loved the episode aside from Euron surviving the blast on the boat.

Other than that I thought it was great.

ETA hoped Jaime would’ve killed Cersei

I don’t get this, it would of been awesome to see Jamie kill her, but this way Dany killed her in the best way Dany could. She brought her fricking castle down on top of her. That’s pretty frickin brutal. That’s a lot of justice.

One of the few decisions I liked in the leaks.

This season has been mostly a dud but this episode was some awesome stuff. Not sure if it makes up for the season, but as a stand alone it was one of the best of the series.

horseshite, HBO gave them the option of more resources and many more episodes. D&D wanted to move on. All this leaked, D&D are responsible for the quick pacing of the end and the lack of resources used on some of the episodes this season.

Non-book reader, non leak reader

Huge fan, was super disappointed with EP 3

My take on tonight:

So much better than 3 but still the amazing accuracy and effect of the Scorpions last episode, totally worthless this episode.

Defending armies just standing outside their walls, so dumb. AGAIN

Jaime and Cersie death sucked, was hoping for something so much better.

All the rest though I liked, or at least it felt more like old GOT. Folks dying everywhere, no one safe, no happy ending, Dany's true colors revealed to a great extent than we could have imagined, Clegane Bowl wasn't bad, this sets up Jon, Tyrion, Davos, Arya vs. Dany, Greyworm, and Dothraki nicely. The only issue here is that it's a lot to resolve in one more episode.

Some of the stupid decisions and plot holes aside this episode lifted this season from about a 3/10 to a 5/10 for me.
