Why the frick would Euron pick a fight with Jaime right there? I’m still trying to wrap my head around that because he should have just hauled arse once he knew they were fricked. That’s who he is.

Well, actually Euron is a crazy psychopath with a stick up his arse, Jaime's a legend, and Jaime also btw no longer has his sword hand. Rooting interests aside, I thought Euron probably should have taken him out cleanly... and so, apparently, did Euron.

So that actually made sense to me.

Re the Dothraki numbers, Dany seemingly had their entire numbers following her. Look again at the fleet she sails to Westeros originally... it was huge.
She lost a large chunk of ships to Euron when she sent them to fetch the Dornish, she lost more landing the Unsullied at Casterly Rock. She doesn't have the boats to move them all at one time, and it would make sense to leave someone at Dragonstone to hold it against Cersei when she went north anyway. She emptied the place to go against King's Landing, so that could easily be 10K or more.
I want to say the number 80 thousand was said somewhere, maybe Robert in season 1, something like that. Drogo's army alone was enough to create fear, now count in the other Kals too.

We didn't see THAT many in Winterfell.

No effort to wrap the show up creatively.

People keep saying this yet not a single one of you had the series ending with Dany going full blown mad Targ and wiping out a million people.

No one predicted the ending being Bran waking up from a coma after being pushed out of the window with the entire show having been a dream. Just because it wasn’t predicted doesn’t make it good.

They completely ruined most of the shite I’ve watched over 7 seasons

Do elaborate
If you wanted a happy ending as a reward for all the suffering and strife our "good guys" (the crew that faced the Dead at Winterfell) went through, this completely destroys that. It's natural to want Jon, Dany, Sansa and Arya to find happiness, for the Hound to get peace, and for the heroes to triumph over Cersei and live happily ever after.

It's always been hinted that this wasn't going to end that way, and they used the "Jon is the true heir" as the wedge to disrupt everything. We knew at the end of the 7th season that either it was going to leave a weird incest taste in our mouths, or something bad was going to go down. It's interesting how many people used medieval European families to justify the incest/happy ending angle.

Yep, Jon vs Dany was so obvious. What a predictable ending, it seems people want this fan fiction fairytale ending. Not sure what show or books they have been looking at because they weren't ever going to get it with GOT.

The previous episode was trash and I guess people can melt about it. Tonight was setup in the most rushed and ham-handed way possible but with all that said the episode was brilliant on its own merit.

Hey one of you ppl who keep saying that they ruined character arcs please explain your point instead of just criticizing ppl for enjoying that episode.
To make sure I get your all knowing GoT approval I do want to precursor this by saying I haven’t enjoyed what they’ve done in 3 and 4.

However, in my opinion they did a fantastic job with this episode. Dany went mad, which has been foreshadowed constantly throughout the show and the books. Would bet varys’ non-existent left testicle that happens in the book. The unsullied follow Dany blind no matter what. Greyworm just lost the only person that has ever mattered to him in the world, so he was taking it out on foreigners that he never liked anyway.

Jamie was always going to go back to cersei. Going back made it a more realistic story in my opinion.

Arya and hound moment was amazing. Cleagane Bowl also awesome.

Explain to me what character arcs I missed please?

Also, anyone bitching about Drogon taking over are probably the same ppl who said the dragons haven’t done shite. She figured out how to use her nuclear weapon. Bring him in hot and fast like the NK did with viserion.
