I enjoy the Reddit fights that Nolan movies create.

There are so many twists and turns in “Tenet,” it has a puzzle-like nature to its story and the weight of the action scenes is enormous. The 150 minutes just flew. Quite honestly, I still don’t fully grasp a few things within the story, a second viewing will help clear a few things up but it’s very much a time-travel movie done in the most deliberately complicated of ways. If Inception was about dreaming, then “Tenet” is about reversing time and righting the wrongs of the past. The locations are also stunning, this was shot on-location in many countries.

Not gonna lie, my dick is so hard.

Tenet review: Christopher Nolan's thriller is a palindromic dud

When you speak like someone who has a thesaurus on you at all times, I will probably not take your review seriously.

This is part of the problem. These “critics” now use their emotions when eating a film. They feel they have moral authority to base reviews/ratings on social measures. We have seen it with this and also Get Out and the new Spike Lee one on Netflix. Average movies at best that are rated extremely high because the critics want to get a social message out there.

Mike Ryan @mikeryan I've been struggling with how to cover a movie like TENET, a film trying to get people back in theaters in the U.S. during a pandemic when experts say it's the last thing we should do. And, morally, at all endorsing or normalizing something I wouldn't do.

You’re a godamn movie critic. You could review the damn movie Mike.

You don't think Nolan was aware of the word palindrome when he chose tenet as the title of his movie?

You guys quoting this as a review realize this was not a review, right?

Curious of this guys stance of the protesting and rioting and looting... yet me sitting a theater is somehow a detriment to public health and safety

Some of them have said that explicitly.

Jesus raptor riding Christ, everyone you quoted is acknowledging he didn’t provide an actual critique of the movie.

Are you simple?

I have to say I particularly don’t trust the critics when it comes to this film. First off they shat on Interstellar simply judging if it was equal to 2001, but the real point is a bunch of these virtue signalers don’t want you in the theaters to spread Covid.

Most of the reviews are from international writers, who are not quite as annoying as american writers. I think the reviews are going to be bad once the American media gets to watch it. That score is going to drop like a rock, IMO.

If the critics are docking points from Tenet for opening during the pandemic then they can go frick themselves. Your job isn’t to comment on the politics of the day. It’s to rate the damn movie on the quality of the work

Pretty sure palindrome is the only word for the meaning. Also pretty sure Nolan knew Tenet was a palindrome before he made it the title. If "palindromic" is out of a thesaurus, which adjective would you choose that would make it acceptable?

There’s absolutely no reason to attach “palindromic” to “dud” when rating the movie. It’s just the guy trying way too hard to be clever. The movie quality has nothing to do with the title

Stay off reddit if you don’t want to know much about the film. It's already opened in Australia, so lots of reactions out there.

BOX OFFICE: Christopher Nolan’s #TENET has finally hit theaters and is projected to earn anywhere between $25-40M overseas this weekend.

Warner Brothers is keeping a tight lid on the film’s earnings, and won’t report numbers until Sunday via @DEADLINE.
