I could see Rupert, putting his hands on Jade, Nate comes in and tells him to F offand maybe even lands a punch. Goes out and tells the press. The next thing you know 20 women come out and say the same thing and absolutely ruin Rupert.
They’re gonna “me too” his arse

If they do it the right way, I could totally support this move.

Yeah I have a big issue with all the sympathetic Nate episodes before he makes amends with Ted. He should be either a. the villian or b. Wracked with guilt all the time. He’s shown some guilt but now he’s just genuinely happy.
I think what they’re doing is a slow burn of Nate coming to the realization he no longer needs the persona he goes into when he stares in the mirror. The culmination will come with a complete dismantling of Rupert and him making amends with Ted. Then Ted being Ted revealing he holds no hard feelings for what he did.

That would fit the narrative of this season honestly…

The first time thing I noticed about this episode was the huge product placement of Nike everywhere in the first scene. Starting with the first cleat shot.
So apparently
“Nike celebrates season 3 of TED LASSO with an official AFC Richmond collection. Nike announced that they'd begin making AFC Richmond's kits and warm-ups in the show's third season — replacing fictional manufacturer Verani Sports — and those same kits, warm-ups and ancillary items are available for purchase.”

Oh yeah, it's been all through S3.
Of course, if you're one of the fans of a CFB team sponsored by Nike (like 80% of teams) then you probably don't even see the swoosh anymore.

And Rupert looked not thrilled.
Rupert is a billionaire. The look he gave Nate was, "ok loser whatever".
Him casually flirting with Jade was pure, I'm a rich guy and I'll do all I please, move.
He really wanted Nate to hang with him. To see if he wants to be one of the guys. But he doesn't.

Ted and his ex get back together and he moves back home
That would be so disappointing for him to go back to her, she is a dreadful person and should get stuck with the self absorbed therapist.
I do think he moves back to the states, hopefully to takeover a Midwest football team in need of a change.....like a once powerful but downtrodden team, maybe Nebraskaish type.

So it's like Quantum Leap where Yed jumps around fixing everyone else but his problems?

Premier League has a ton of Nike in real life, so it actually works.

The writing and continuity of Ted is up there with Breaking Bad and Mad Men.
I grow tired of the agenda being shoved down our throats...mind the pun.
I get that LGBTQRSTXYZ matters are critical issues with the writers and networks, but they don't play well in middle America. Tolerated, sure...but they don't gain purchase with the majority.
I did not have much of an issue a few years ago when all commercials went to diverse family's. But it's interesting how that has bloomed to full media control. Any doubts with the major media outlets agenda is on display with a certain laptop; even this week.
The 1984 Apple commercial was spot on in more ways than was intended. I think the coming generations will be much easier to control and program than the boomers and x's were.

This show sucks now. They completely forgot it’s a comedy and now it’s just a bunch of self serving propaganda with an occasional splash of comedy. Hell they didn’t even show the dramatic comeback down 1 goal and down a man, they just cut from the locker room scene to the announcer praising Colin Hughes for suddenly becoming the cornerstone of the team once the weight of his sexual orientation secret being lifted (even though he’s only told like 15 people now and he’s a soccer star so the rest of the world not knowing should be a massive pressure on him)
Ted is barely in the episodes now. And when he is, it’s only to show that though they perceive him as some backwoods hick from the mid west, he’s actually the world’s leading expert on social justice empowerment

agree, the show just highlights all the weirdos now except for Roy.
Ted barely has a role, and when it’s featured he’s depressed or having a panic attack.
Beard is just a nut and one liners and loud noises.
The Netherlands dude is just one liner, matter of fact.
The French guy is just one liners about banging chicks or drinking wine.
Just one liner stereotypes if you don’t have some obscure agenda to push.

Anyone else notice that the Cockney accent is almost overdone in S3? It was there in the other seasons but is seems as though Jamie and Keeley especially are really trying to see who can outdo the other. It's to the point where I have to really pay attention to catch what is said.

Idk if getting back with the ex is his problem.

Wouldn't be too unbelievable that the Zava signing led to Nike coming aboard.

Read this review…pretty spot on
As it has racked up viewers and accolades, a charming workplace sitcom has transformed into a bloated prestige drama, David Sims writes: LINK
?
The first season of “Ted Lasso” earned its massive hype. “It was a well-constructed workplace sitcom that built out its central character’s leadership strengths step by step, methodically depicting how Ted’s emotional intelligence more than makes up for his lack of tactical acumen, ” Sims writes. “The show’s propensity for ‘niceness’ was radical and surprising, somehow allowing it to generate laughs while dodging conflict … Ted’s guileless charm is often mistaken for stupidity, and there was a real sense of discovery for the audience in seeing him win over his colleagues.”?
?
However, in the subsequent season, the show began to show signs of bloat: increased runtimes and growing plotlines. Now, in Season 3, the show’s supplementary characters have all become the stars of their own shows. “‘Ted Lasso’ is no longer a workplace sitcom but a universe of workplace sitcoms, drifting from a football club to an upstart PR firm to another (more evil) football club to a pair of local restaurants. Scenes are devoid of jokes and filled with dopey, self-important monologuing on the issues of the day. Rather than have any conflict, characters offer endless hugs and wan smiles, all under the watchful mustache of Mr. Lasso, whose retinue of dad jokes feels noticeably phoned in,” Sims argues. ?
?
“The show isn’t incapable of being insightful, even in its latest, most pretentious form,” Sims continues. “But it has stopped being as funny, which for me was its primary reason for existing.”?
