This show really rips your heart out with the on field results. It’s like rooting for an actual fringe Premier League team.

Yeah, but this wasn't a blow up, this was more like an "I'm done with you" thing. Wasn't expecting it.

Yeah the details for the next episode make it seem like it’s Beard’s turn to deal with his issues more so than having problems with Ted.

Jamie standing up to his father.
Roy admitting that Phoebe's dad is a piece of shite and that's why he's so involved.
Ted admitting what the source of his sorrow is.
Higgins dropping his pearls as usual.
Sam being a good, honest, determined young man because of his relationship with his pops.
The show is really about the impact a father can have on a young man and how it can influence the type of man and father they can become.
Jamie standing up to his father.
Roy admitting that Phoebe's dad is a piece of shite and that's why he's so involved.
Ted admitting what the source of his sorrow is.

Completely agree. Love this ep. Really keeps you hooked too. Lots of things to unpack in the last 4 eps. Plenty of time to do it.

Just started watching season one last night and just finished the current episode.
Two things.
Wish I'd known Juno Temple was in this and I'd have already watched this.
Some of the dialog comes across like it was written by the same people that write Billions. Cringey.
Damn fine show all around though.
