But also, I don't even want to see the end on Sunday.

I don't either. I've really enjoyed all of the characters on the show, and it sucks to know that I won't be seeing them grow more after tomorrow

He let Maeve keep the money.
Good for him. Would have just been stolen by a corrupt cop anyway. Maeve deserved it.

I thought he was going to adopt Sam. But they showed him going to a family.
The Dark Hearts pretty much are wiped out.

Absolutely.

Did not call Grasso redeeming himself like that. Do appreciate the nuance of the conversation with his sister that it wasn’t as simple as greed but doing what he did to try to help his family. Love a good gray area character.

Glad to see Tom didn’t tell them about the money. And Maeve surviving (I was gonna be pissed if she didn’t).

A pretty satisfying ending overall.

Awesome awesome show!

The one thing I wish they dove into more was the connection between Perry and Jason. There has to have been something more to their relationship for Perry to have been so unable to off this dude who was ruining everything, to the point of eventually costing Perry his own life. Felt like that connection deserved to be explained further.

I do give them a ton of credit for how they finished the murdering son storyline. That one, and the whole Ruffalo daughters / family storyline, was pretty eh for me all the time. It just never did all that much for me, but damn that courtroom scene had me all in the feels. So well done.

I enjoyed the show, but I had a little trouble keeping up with all characters
In the Dark Hearts and their connections. I’m still recuperating from my medical event and sometimes I tire easily and lose a little bit of focus when watching a show.. after awhile scruffy dudes started to blend together…

Watched the whole series this week with the finale last night. Really liked the show. I do think it is interesting that it was 7 episodes and not an extra one or two with at least back story of the Black hearts or anything. Not saying they should have, but they could have probably filled out 10 episodes pretty easily.

Me, too. I was bawling like a baby.

I would not be opposed to seeing a prequel. . the story behind Perry and Jayson, more on Robbie and his brother, why Robbie's wife left, etc.

And more Martha Plimpton!

Lotta of folks thinking Maeve gets Jayson but I’m leaning Grasso and he goes away that way. He was powerfully angry in the scene with the other accomplice about them killing her. Bet he at least plays a part in Jayson/Perry getting got.

Feeling pretty good I snubbed Belle on this for once.

Solid finale. Ruffalo is easy to dislike but he can seriously act and played this character so well.

Martha Plimpton was just awesome in this. Such a great character. Totally forgot she was in the goonies.

I loved this show and the finale but needed 15 more minutes

I didn’t like how open they left the Grasso storyline. What do you think happened to him?

Also was disappointed that all this build up between Perry and Jason and that’s how it ends? The gang was built up all season and they were all killed in 5 minutes.

Seemed pretty clear he was going to IA and fully confess because he couldn’t take the guilt anymore.

I think Brandis forgiving him/knowing how much Grasso was beating himself up was the full circle closure he needed in addition to turning himself in.

Yea I could easily be wrong too, probably am. If Jayson and/or Perry make it out of hiding, or if Jayson even makes a phone call to one of the other Dark Hearts, Maeve is going to have some pressure on her. I'm not saying that a whole new story is going to pop up in the last episode but I think Maeve is going to need to take the kids somewhere. They would know Robbie left either the drugs or money with her. Though the odds of both Jayson and Perry living are pretty slim.

But I want nothing but good things to happen to Maeve and hope she's able to ride off into the sunset with the money.

Look at me being right for once.

Just getting back on TD since the finale and man that was a good one. Put a bow on the story nice and tight.

Overall one of the best new series in the past few years imo.

The Penguin
Dark Matter
Shogun
Fallout

Right up there with those.
