And Savannah and Rizo get the spots on 50.

Sone quality veterans in there mixed in with some ho-hum newer players.

Glad it went down the way it did. By far the strongest player on the season got the W.

Not gonna lie… these are dirty and unclean people on a beach. But she still managed to make those look REALLY good all season.

That aside, she deserved to win. Even my kids (age 11 and 7) agree. I’m happy with that outcome. Good final and tribal.

Savannah and Rizo get the spots on 50

On the post-show podcast, they had Savannah and Rizo on and talked about Season 50. Jeff asked each one separately, Rizo after being voted out and Savannah after winning. The turnaround time between 49 and 50 was 2 weeks.

In his interview, Rizo seemed like he wanted to pick up his alliance with Savannah where they left off. Savannah seemed a little more hesitant because she feels like Soph, her bestie, betrayed her by sending her to fire. Rizo said he’d be open about how they finished in Season 49.

Jeff also addressed Kristina’s jury question to Savannah. He said it was a fair question and she was brave for asking it. Give me a break.

Maybe I missed it during the season but I thought I heard Jeff say Soph got a full scholarship to Duke.

Jeff seemed really excited about how Season 50 played out and said the first 10 minutes of the premiere was going to be great. We shall see.

SO brave to ask someone to name family members of 9 people. Everyone else asked questions of all 3 but, Kristina just went after Savannah. Turn it around and Savannah is a bitch and Kristina cries it's unfair.

As much as I don't like Savannah, she deserved to win. But her getting emotional and acting like she was betrayed by this was so fake. If it was the other way around she would have cut Sophie down in a heartbeat.

Savannah won immunity so many times lately she was in control. To see her back having to grovel and play emotional games reminded me how unlikeable she is.

That would be a terrible idea. They have the advantage of no one knowing their Survivor history. If they come across as a tight pair theyllbe picked off quickly.

All is "fair" and I thought Savannah did a decent job of knowing something about everyone, even though she was only in the game with some of them for a few days and they were on opposing sides.

But it most certainly was not brave. It was straight up cowardly if anything.

Totally agree. She was such an unlikable person. It’s no wonder she got fired from her job, she’s a insufferable bitch. Yet, of the 3 remaining, she did deserve the win. I hope she is voted out quickly in 50.

Ar least she owned that she was there to play an aggressive strategic game and not just a kumbaya we're all besties social game. We've been missing that lately and in my opinion redeemed a season that was completely forgettable up until the final 6.

I don’t think it redeemed the season at all. She wasn’t strategic, she was fortuitous by winning immunity challenges when she did and by the action or lack thereof of by one of the worst players in survivor history, Soph.

Nobody said they want kumbaya but an arrogant, insufferable bitch won. Nothing more, nothing less. Can’t wait to see her get voted out in 50.

100% One of the things I loved about Rizo and Savannah were that they both would not hesitate to take each other out at the end to guarantee themselves the win.

But how stupid of them all (except for Christina) to not be able to make fire easily. Anyone that thinks they might be on Survivor should practice that skill. It's easy to get the materials and learn this. So stupid of Rizo and Savannah for them both to be so over confident that they think they wouldn't need that skill.

Savannah seemingly got it going pretty quickly, but we don't know how much was edited out.

It's pretty easy to buy a lit online and practice too. I certainly would.

I agree for the most part, which is why it pissed me off even more to see her act like she was betrayed when Sophie put her in the fire challenge. Now all of a sudden she is all about besties??

I didn’t care much for Savannah but she far and away deserved the win. Soph did much better than I expected at Final Tribal. Jawan’s vote was completely and utterly useless he even admitted as much to Jeff.

I was rooting for Rizzo. He was annoying at times, but he was at least playing the game, and was convincing others to do his bidding.

If Survivor and Jeff were insistent on 2 contestants from 49 to be on 50, they made the right call with Savannah and Rizzo.

Survivor 49 was probably the worst season I have ever seen, and if I had to guess I’ve probably seen every episode of 40-45 of the seasons.

Done with 49… now onto 50. I’m really excited about 50. I think they are going to go all out. The new era has had too much of the same, and stagnant gameplay, if anything 50 brings back a bunch of characters and a bunch of people who actually will play the game. That’s what made Survivor so great to begin with.

Off hand I would put it above 39, 41, and 42 for sure.

I wish they would go back to 39 days. What they have now is too easy.

Looks like they are jumping the shark again with celebrities randomly showing up and an unemployed kid with a cell phone Mr beast.

41 was the last jump the shark with the woke moments

Yeah, that promo got me less excited for season 50 than I was before. I felt like they knocked season 40 out of the park with only winners. That may be tough to replicate only 5 years later. However, promoting the celebrities seems like a weird plan for a season that should be a tribute to the fans. I was hoping they would lean more into incorporating aspects from different seasons. Using celebrities, having fans vote on challenges, etc. seem line unnecessary gimmicks.
