The remaining Sophie is beyond a doubt one of the weakest players in Survivor history

She wasn’t mentally prepared to play. You have to go in knowing you’ll almost certainly have to betray a faithful ally to be in a position to win. She just met these people 3 weeks ago and might not ever see them again after the season. Sophie was a third place finisher, at best, before tribal last night but she had an opportunity to build her resume and improve her odds of winning. Now her ceiling is third place.

She seems like she’d be a great friend in real life but this is a game, not real life.

Margaritas on an empty stomach got the best of her

Also, everyone of these dumbass folk deserve to lose to Rizzo because they have not flushed his idol knowing he has had it for what seems like 10 rounds

This. It seems like Sage has been getting an alliance together to take out Rizzo or Savannah for the past 6 weeks, but when it comes to tribals, they all magically vote differently. Last week they could have done it but she wanted revenge on Yellow Sophie, that was a huge misplay in my eyes.

fricking Rizzo and his boy cry wolf shite gets old at every tribal. They have had so many chances to either flush his idol or get rid of him altogether, but they can't fricking do it.

Blue Sophie handed the game to Savannah/Rizzo last week with her choice to steal Steven's advantage. It would have been a huge power move to steal Rizzo's idol and then vote him out, but at the end of the day she cowered to Savannah/Rizzo and fricked herself out of her advantage.

It's been so frustrating each week to hear them talk about taking out Savannah or Rizzo, only to see no one have the stones to actually vote for one of them. This past episode when Blue Sophie raised the idea of stealing Rizzo's idol, I felt like the show telegraphed it, so we would think she would do it only to change her mind. Which is exactly what happened.

Can someone please further explain this? Block a vote and steal a vote have to be played before Tribal??

What if they don’t plan to use it? Can they leave it/hide it back at camp, or are they “forced” to bring along with them? Otherwise why would you ever bring it with you?

So if he actually had it on him and she steals it with the Knowledge advantage, she can’t play it to aid her side at the same tribal? This seems like a nonsensical sloppy rule.

The whole thing is/was dumb. Everything should have to be played at tribal. Playing an advantage while you are being interviewed by production at camp makes zero sense.

Agreed.

Knowledge is Power. She had the knowledge that e had an advantage. How the frick was she supposed to know he could just hand it to someone in production back at camp and wouldn't "technically" have it on him at tribal.

This was some cbs planned bullshite to make tribal more interesting.

But, based on the way they’ve edited Kristina as a buffoon, I just don’t see it.

Buffoon yes. I don't think she'd have Stephen or Yellow Sophie. But they also edited her as likeable. She doesn't seem to bug people. You never know about juries.

Why are people assuming shenanigans? Stephen and Christina aren’t dumb. That was a smart move. Stephen’s advantage wasn’t hidden and that’s the proactive move.

This season is maddening in general though. Never seen such idiots. It’s legitimately frustrating to watch.

Two players from this season will appear on season 50 so I hope you’re ready for more!

I'd be ok if they brought back Steven and Savannah. Steven has enjoyable interviews, and I think he had a good strategy, but his alliance was made up of morons. I don't really like Savannah, but she is really good at challenges, and she has a knack for surviving even when nobody wants her there.

I'd be disappointed if they wasted a spot on anyone else from this season (especially if they bring back the huge dude just because he got bit by a snake early).

I've avoided the season 50 spoilers so don't know which 2 make it, but Savannah and Rizo would be my bet, with Steven and Sage possible and Jake as a sympathy invite back a long shot.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Jake is back later, though.

Survivor needs more true villains. Of course, they won't do that because "feelings".

100%. Blue Sophie fricked herself. If she had stolen it, letting Stephen go is fine, because the next tribal they can take either Rizo or Savannah if by some change she didn't win immunity.

Although they are stupid for not voting Rizo and making him play the idol (or just blindsiding and sending him home), I do give Rizo some of the credit in that. I do think that Rizo is generally likeable. Yes, he's nerdy, but remember that he is in sales. I think he's actually pretty good at reading people. He or Savannah absolutely deserve to win this game.

I'd rather snake bite guy than Yellow Sophie. Everything about her just grated on me.

I was telling my wife the same thing. They need to bring in more women shaped like Savannah that can really make challenges interesting.

My thoughts too. Was it two seasons ago a guy struggled climbing a ladder? They celebrate crossing a balance beam on the 16th try. Is it too hard to find people that have some physical fitness along with baggage?
