The twist was stupid. If they wanted to get rid of 2 the same night, should have just had 1 tribe

I don’t know why Michael voted Wendall when he might have been able to team with Kellyn to out Laurel. He duped Kellyn that he had an idol, so I would have thought he would have tried to collaborate witg her to target someone else.

He must have been more in the dark than the edit portrayed.

I thought it was a great twist, it just didn't create much drama because of the draw.

Sucks to see Michael go. He and Dom are the best players this season. I hated Dom at first, but he's become my favorite. In contrast, I liked Kellyn at first, and can't stand her now. I wish they would have voted her out.

Right. If they stay one tribe, the majority old tribe just votes out two of the others and further establishes dominance. The random new tribes had the possibility of a shake up, but the draw just didn’t work out that way. Was happy to see Jenna go after calling Donathan an idiot for thinking of using his idol for her - what a bitch. And If Michael and Laurel would have just voted together being on the bottom, they could at least have made it a tie. Couldn’t believe they weren’t on the same page.

I wonder how seriously Donathan considered giving Jenna his idol. THey played that up with the edit, but I doubt he ever really intended to give it to her.

Considering he wouldn't even let Michael use it as part of his bluff, I highly doubt it was ever a serious thought.

And good move on his part to not let Michael "borrow" it. What if Michael had refused to give it back?

I was pulling for Michael, but not I'm split between Donathan and Domenick. Dom has really been spot on when it comes to reading people and his hunches, including Michael's immunity idol bluff... although he probably also suspected that Michael found the fake one so even if he did have one, it wasn't real.

If Michael had gotten it, he'd have used it and rightly so

I'm a horrible person but I hate the sappy loved ones episode every season.

But hey, we got a gratuitous arse cheek shot of sebastian's sister.

I fast forwarded through all the loved ones part. Wendall made a good move by not playing his idol tonight. I do think he will have to play it next week though.

i really thought wendell was going home with an idol. but, laurel knew he had an idol and expected him to play it.

is donothan actually smart and playing dumb? or is he really just dumb and lucky?

the female talent gets worse with every tribal.

not breaking up dom/wendell is going to turn out to be a huge mistake

kellyn's sideways navel is kinda gross.

Yeah, the girls are pretty much screwed now barring an IC run. I thought the same thing about Wendell going home with an idol, if I even had a suspicion my name was coming up, it would be played.

I think he's smarter than he lets on, but also very naive. He's been lucky as well, but teaming up with Laurel has been his best move since she's been aligned with Wendell and Dom.

I kind of sensed Wendell was safe. Laurel never seemed gung ho about the girls alliance thing, especially right after Kellyn voted for her twice. It was probably the better strategic move for her to flip if she could make it to the finals, but her road was much tougher with the girls.

unless donothan let wendell in on what he was going to say at tribal (the look on his face said otherwise) i don't know how he held on to it. gotta be some stuff we are missing out on bc of editing.

That's kind of the theme of this show, and one of my biggest gripes about it. It was especially bad last season. It does build some suspense at TC, but it sometimes leads to head scratching results. Last night made sense if you watched Laurel's body language during the lead up to TC. Donathan's comments did kind of threw a curve ball though.

Agreed, and yeah, her body is shaped really weirdly, with that funky navel being an unfortunate center point.

I've noticed that she is getting a LOT of air time and the edits always highlight her. I'm afraid she's going to not only make it to the end, but win the damned thing.

I'm personally pulling for Wendel. I'm also sad to see Chelsea go. She had a rocking little athletic body, even if her head looked too big for it (kinda reminded me of one of those big stone heads on Easter Island)

Chelsea:

And every time I see Laurel I think of Lou Gossett Jr. from Enemy Mine
