That was too easy. Anyone thinking Jurassic wouldn't win is just biased

People always say “The Jurassic Park franchise is dead!”. But they keep making a billion everytime out.

It's always funny when people post "why do they keep making these?"

New interview

“I wanted a Superman who could be beaten,” Superman writer/director and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn told Rolling Stone before the release of his film. David Corenswet’s Kal-El does take more than his share of punches in the film, but he turns it around in the end — and the movie itself is flying to its own triumphs at the box office. “Those weekday numbers have been incredible,” Gunn says.
Just after a press tour that took him around the world, Gunn joined Rolling Stone by Zoom for a follow-up to his recent Rolling Stone Interview. It was a spoilers-and-all conversation that digs into the film’s plot twists, the future of the DCU, and more. (Again, spoilers ahead: If you haven’t seen Superman yet, click away.)

think people want to be reassured that there’s a good explanation for why Supergirl didn’t tell Superman about his parents. Since she’s presumably more knowledgeable about Krypton.
You’re assuming that everybody on Krypton is the same! And how would she know? She’s younger than him, so she wouldn’t know. She wouldn’t know anything about his parents.
Fair enough. Did you ever think about a bigger role for her in this film? Or was it always as we see it in the final cut?
Yeah, it was always that. When I took this job, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow [the graphic novel that inspired 2026’s Supergirl] was, like, number one for me of the things I knew I wanted to do. Ana Nogueira just killed the script right away, and saw what I saw in how the comic could be adapted to film, where [Supergirl is] even rougher in the film than she is in the comic, I think.
quote:
People who’ve read the Woman of Tomorrow graphic novel might have reason to be concerned about Krypto in Supergirl. You cut a scene where Ultraman punches Krypto because it upset audiences. If he can’t be punched in this movie, how do you have a scarier thing happen to him in a Supergirl movie?
Remember, this is a different movie than Supergirl. Supergirl is a way more rock & roll film. It’s a little bit rougher, in certain ways. She’s a tougher character. She’s not Superman at all. And so it’s not the same. This movie really is for everybody. And so is Supergirl, but it’s a little bit edgier in some ways than this film. Mind you,I’ve seen all the dailies, but I haven’t seen the cut. I see it next week, I think. So I’m very excited about that.

Yeah, it's off to a good start. I was meh on the film but I can't deny that it's doing great, domestically. I might take my parents today so I've been looking at showtimes, and it's almost sold out everywhere
The only thing that needs to be done is to lower the budgets and adjust expectations internationally because Asia is done with super heroes.

Opinions of NPC shills are of no concern to me. This drop ranks slightly better than *The NEW Avengers (

Of what significance is even that question to you?
Married, single, wife died of cancer, wtf is your point? Only married folks have valid opinions?
Jesus....

It’s not manufactured. Fans actually care about the stories, the characters they know..
Here's the thing - I don't think they actually DO know this character.
They keep wanting the Snyder Superman... well, Snyder's version of Superman barely exists in the comics. The closest was during the New 52, when Superman was made edgier and more alien. The reason was because his human parents died when he was very young. This was reversed when it turned out Doctor Manhattan had done it just to see what would happen - so Superman is back to being the good guy that Snyder fans apparently dislike.

It’s been explained the why over & over again why, I’ve grown tired of trying to anyone.
Don’t know why it’s so hard for you to understand but fans in fact, do NOT want their mythos ruined in a minute baby.
Fine, I get it - it's not the version of Superman YOU prefer.
That said, don't pretend YOUR version is THE version. Superman has had many iterations over the years - most of them earned the nickname "The Big Blue Boy Scout" for a REASON. Superman is supposed to be hope personified - the idea that an amazingly powerful alien can come to this planet and instead of just treating human beings like ants he loves them and protects them.
You know, as opposed to engaging in a brawl in the middle of a city that kills untold thousands because drawing the fight out somewhere else wouldn't be thematic enough.
