Supergirl always looked like a Supermodel in the comics. I just think she was miscast. I hope it’s good bc I want to see this universe expand - and I hope Gunn lets other directors take it from here.

Gunn isn’t directing this one.
It just looks like it.

God willing.

Black Adam sucked really bad. I thought some of the characters were interesting, but the the movie was a dud. You know these actors and actresses who insist on telling their audience NOT to watch their movies is really short sited. She can easily be replaced by AI.

You would think the studio would discourage that kind of thing, but I guess hollywood doesn't care as long as it's against conservatives and Christians.

With a C- list hero that is, at best, very mid, and at worst, feral in appearance, they need a huge villain to bring people in. Maybe that was the point of Lobo, and he might be amazing in this. But he looked very underwhelming in the trailer. So- the villain in this is unknown to 99.5% of the viewing audience. And worse, he looks just like a Ravager from GotG. This will be a spectacular flop of seismic proportions.

This can't happen fast enough.

a C- list hero
Peacemaker needed explanation. People know who Supergirl is.

I know there are people here who think last year’s Superman was great, but it wasn’t. At best it was ok and the box office numbers back it up. It didn’t lay any type of groundwork for this movie to be successful.
Gunn was an awful choice to lead the DCU.
But hey….we get MOAR KRYPTO!

A flop of seismic proportions should require a massive marketing campaign and massive expectations, neither of which this movie seems to have.
I know you guys hate when people dare not to care about something, but who freaking cares? This has been an annoying month of people here being over-invested in the failure of movies they don't care to see. So much so that they repeat misinformation and inflated numbers from other people emotionally invested in that failure. The "journalistic" cottage industry of presenting profitability estimates as facts for idiots to repeat on message boards needs to die.
