If you had responded to the ones making it about real life politics in the first place you would have a point. No argument with you and I agree with you, but you're blaming the band-aid for causing the cut. I cede enough of their politics on the movie/tv board.

Who knows if Connor was even sincere about that statement anyways or if he's just like everyone else on the show only caring about his own interest
He could've just been asshurt he performed horribly

Luckily for you there's an entire internet out there that is almost 99% more friendly to your set of views. Why don't you just go to one of those places instead of acting like somebody is forcing you to stay here
Anyways, no more poli talk for me

It was like one post. Just ignore it. Either discuss the show itself or frick off.
And I'm pretty sure the large number of us from across the political spectrum share that sentiment.

He's always had that kind of quirky, Libertarian-type vibe to me. Not quite Ross Perot, but more Gary Johnson?
But I think it's been less about the politics for him but instead trying to find his niche in the family. He's not built for the business end of things.

Like everyone did with my one post?
The show is discussing real life politics, which is what the comment I was responding to you was about.
You frick off.

The show would be better if Connor and Willa weren’t in it. Connor tried to legitimize himself by running for president and Frank still had that comment during his concession speech when he said “Connor was running for president?” He’s such a useless character and he had no arc. No one took him seriously at the beginning and they still don’t.
It would be classic HBO though if he’s the last one standing and they make him CEO. He hasn’t done any of the illegal shite that Ken and Roman have done and he didn’t try to frick the company like Shiv is doing.

Gotta disagree on that one.
Connor has had some great one liners. He’s a necessary non-business angle in the whole deal.

It’s pretty obvious Greg wins in the end. He’s the true puppet master.

I can see your point, from a necessary to the story perspective, but their acting and dialogue make up for it. The “Berlin by Christmas” and the “I could open up North Korea like Nixon did China,” lines had me rolling. That and their relationship is a relief/contrast to balance the more subtle unintentional humor of Ken and Shiv, and the fast what-the-hell humor of Roman imo.

“A little carbomby” line is worth having Connor along.

If Connor and Willa weren’t in the show it wouldn’t change a thing. Their whole existence is superfluous and boring.

I disagree, she wouldn’t even say yes to marrying him until he had an emotional breakdown and even then she blew up the rehearsal dinner saying “I can’t do this.” She’s only in it for the money too, it’s not like they have some sweet relationship.

Connor is one of the reasons I'm still watching. Not the main reason, but him and Willa are a few of the people I hope something good actually happens to. He's the one kid that is actually bearable as a human being. He's just a dumb billionaire, but he's not a dumb billionaire trying to play CEO. He at least knows he's not Logan, the other twats all think they can be Logan and they just aren't smart enough.

Willa
It’s been interesting watching someone like her give up every single dream and value she ever had and marry someone she doesn’t love all for something she thinks will make her happier. When she was hanging out in bars with her broke friends she probably thought of herself as a “powerful independent woman” chasing her dreams, and she went straight sugar baby the first chance she got.
