Also, isn't Sadie Sink supposed to be the new Jean Gray?

That might actually work.

I don't think this is confirmed anywhere. She is definitely in the new Spiderman movie though.

I think they tied it up nicely.

agreed. I wasn't elated nor was I disappointed. Like the rest of this season, it had good scenes, it had bad scenes. Don't feel like I wasted my time, but I don't think it was must see caliber either.

Critical Drinker review. Basically, it sucked but he didn't hate it.

I thought the final episode was ok. The fight against Vecna and all that was a convoluted mess that wasn'tgood, but I really enjoyed how they wrapped things up. I really think they should've wrapped things up season 4.

Was Jonathan always carrying around a flame thrower?

I don't agree with everything you said but I do agree that with the way the finale went, the entire rest of Season 5 was pretty much unnecessary.

The only thing that was relevant was the discovery of the wormhole.

However, I did enjoy the send off and bringing Mike back in as the leader considering he was nearly cast aside for 3 seasons.

Thankfully, Erica's role in the finale was minimal but still unfortunately she made an appearance. God I hate that character.

The backstory of how Henry became the evil bastard he is

Although, didn't do a great job with it. Should have cut all the unnecessary dialogue throughout and invested time in this. Like how did the scientist have the briefcase, how did he get down there, why did he think someone was chasing him, etc...

That was relevant but they barely hinted at it in 5 episodes. The finale had the most important parts of the backstory and longest screen time.

I know duffers denied it but this had to have been Mike telling the whole story through the dnd game

Had they wrapped this earlier it was set up for a spinoff with a different group of kids doing another campaign

They still did with the kids at the end, but I don't think anyone wants to see mudshark Holly and strong YA wamyn with the black kid and Dipshit Derek being their lackeys.

Where did the rock in the briefcase come from?

If Henry was infected in the cave at a young age, when did he end up in the lab? Cause he was apparently in Hawkins High.

There's a Stranger Things broadway play that's actually canon. During WW2, the US government was experimenting with teleportation and "accidentally" teleported a ship to Dimension X. Dr Brenner's dad was on the ship and I assume he brought the rock back (everyone else on the ship died I guess).
He was taken to the lab in 1959 right after murdering his mom and sister.

So how many American soldiers did Hopper and gang kill? They just return to normal life? No murder trials? Mrs Rambo gets to live free and have monthly reunions with her friends as if she didn’t murder a bunch of dudes?
None of the kids needed therapy after all that?

Is that Jeffrey Dahmer in the background?

Will defeat an interdimensional demon only to end up in some guy's freezer. It's a cruel world.

It makes sense. There's only so many famous, recognizable red head celebs available. Doesn't matter if they aren't attractive.

I was wondering what he was shooting too. It was like green ooze. I was thinking maybe gasoline to enhance the flame throwers.
