Yep. S1 was great but it was all wtf is going on and shocking to see 11 flip a van ET style. S3 didn't have that luxury and it still delivered just differently.

S3 was a disappointment and almost all of the actors, especially the kids, seemed like they were either given poor direction or just sucked. Hopper was a giant moron who wouldn't stop yelling & the Russian subplot was pointless.
I expect to get downvoted to hell, lol, but S1 & S2 are far superior to S3.

It’s because your comment doesn’t ring true at all. No surprise that you see 10 DV and assume it’s some agenda against you and your beliefs, when you watched the gay reveal and likewise automatically assumed it’s pushing some agenda.
It made sense. Gay people exist, it also makes sense that a character would be gay. They didn’t go on some long tangent about how oppressed gay people are - that would be an unnecessarily shoehorned in agenda. She said she was gay, Steve nodded his head. They moved on. Nothing else. It was just a vehicle to end any thought of a romantic dynamic between Steve and her character and set them up going forward as two friends without any love interest. Had they not made her gay, you couldn’t have their dynamic of just a platonic relationship between the two without everyone thinking they would end up together.
But I’m sure you ignore all that. Anytime you see a gay character, your mind automatically reverts to “SJW agenda!!”

Finally finished the season last night. I've enjoyed all three season in different ways. The 1st was mostly due to (slow revealing of) unknowns and government secrecy. The 3rd season mostly because of the characters and 80s nostalgia.
Perhaps this was obvious but what was the ultimate goal of the Russians in opening the gate?
Also, the end of S3 had the USA military completely taking over the site. How could it have been possible for the Russians to somehow capture Hopper at the point (if we assume he may be alive)?

My guess is they’re either hoping it wreaks havoc on America or it’s just a race in general to see which country can “figure out” the upside down first. (Kinda like the race to space)

I’ve known a few lesbians that “flirt” with dudes and don’t really know they are leading people on. Its that they are so unattractive to dudes that it breaks down the barrier between men. If you don’t know they are dykin you might think they are into you because they are super friendly.
That obviously doesn’t apply to all lesbians because many are just bitches.
The show should have at least hinted at it so it wasn’t so showhorned in
