I thought the ending was really well done. Loved the moment they all end up at the mall together. You were just waiting for it to happen, see them share their stories to catch each other up. The dialogue in that scene was great. "Um yeah El has superpowers, try to keep up."

Finished it last night. I'll be singing Neverending Story for the next month, but I loved every minute of the finale.

I mentioned it earlier but I thought it was wasted time too. They built up a decent amount of chemistry throughout the season and it was super lame for him to have a long confession just to be told "im a lesbian."
They should have gotten that out of the way earlier and that be something you already knew instead of spending time on it during some of the most dramatic times of the entire season.

Some people are extremely offended there are lesbians and gays today. Much less 35 years ago.

I think it's just a way of throwing the audience for a loop. Make us think they're getting together then throw us a gay curveball.
Makes Steve out to be an even better person because of how he just accepts her being a lesbian especially being in the 80s.

Every season Steve becomes a better person while facing tough shite.
Falls for cute smart independent girl loses has to has responsibility but totally took pictures of y'all doing it guy.
Decides to help them fight a monster.
Acquires kids that aren't his.
Is ok with being asked to sell his life for theirs when demodogs attack.
Goes through a shite job while making a friend out of someone who used to hate him.
When he realizes he wants to make it more, finds out she is incompatible with that. But still solidifies their friendship by pivoting and accepting.
Guy is just a good guy, personified, without the usual gets the girl win to cap it, so far.

Yep has to be him. They’ve all but confirmed they were gonna make 4 or 5 seasons anyway.
I think ending at 4 would be a good move but with the Mind Flayer gone and El’s super powers MIA, I don’t really know what else they could do without making it stale. And at this point it’s gotta be something other than the Upside Down. They’ve stretched that as far as it can go I think and at some point it becomes too ridiculous that stuff keeps happening to them

After the last two season I didn't think I'd ever care about Billy. But damn, him getting killed was kind of a punch in the gut.
