Great show that holds up well after 20 yrs. And yes if you don’t like cock sucking than may not be your bag.

Just finished episode 3….fantastic so far. And I always watch movies/shows with CC. I’m already sad it only lasted 3 seasons. Anyone know why the cocksuckers at HBO cut a great series so short?

The writing, acting and story telling is all 1st class. It is one of the few series the wife and I have watched more than once.

If you like Deadwood, you'll like Justified, same levels of excellence.

3 seasons and a movie. The movie wraps up the deadwood “camp” and sets it up to be a real town. Stories after that to me would be much less interesting. Deadwood is Shakespearean tragi-comedy against a setting of pioneer society and I think wrapped up perfectly

without the movie I’d feel differently. To me it is the greatest TV series ever

Too expensive and not enough eyes on it. Ratings weren't good enough for the cost. So Milch moved on to one of the worst shows ever. John from Cincinnati. Garbage.

Same thing they did with Rome. Costs too much. Ratings weren't great so they crammed season 2 & 3 into one season which killed the show.

I tell people to watch season one of Rome and stop.

I am one of the few people who thought season 3 of Deadwood was great and it ended exactly the way it would have to end given these are historical figures. Yes they made lots of changes to history but they couldn't make the big change most people would want.

E.B is upset you haven’t watched it until now !

But yes it’s great and so many “ that guys” that pop in the show that you know from other stuff over the last 20 years

Yeah, I’m watching this stupid Silo show when I could be doing another Deadwood rewatch and actually be entertained.

Swidgen, Wu, Cocksucker.

There’s a fight in season 3 that’s one of the most brutal and real-looking fights I’ve seen on tv/movie. Incredible scene

You Gotta Pump Those Numbers Up, Those Are Rookie Numbers.

I don't think i watched it in 2024 so I am overdue for another rewatch.
