Can you put out a number on how many of those people on Twitter have seen it and how many in this thread have seen it. I know you can't (and neither can I) but I bet that number is way less that the total comments on the film.
The entire film has leaked out. We've had a very specific synopsis of the entire plot, including very detailed segments of dialogue in key moments, for quite a while now. People who have seen the movie have confirmed the validity of the leaks, and leaked images that have come out in the past 24 hours add further corroboration.
The creative decisions that have been made in this film will enrage any true fan of the OT (along with the few that liked TLJ).

You’ve seen it?
No but I had a question about a plot point that's been (mostly) revealed.
Like I said, most everybody knows about it (the big bad) but just in case there are 1 or 2 people that wandered in here looking for reviews and want to be 100% spoiler free, I won't bring it up in this thread.

So let me rephrase......you are putting out opinions on the movie based on some loosely written cliff notes and what you are reading on Twitter.
Got it.
Got it.

If your definition of "some loosely written cliff notes" means about 20 pages worth of plot summary, including word-for-word dialogue scenes....then yeah.

A lot of critics are salty lol

I’ve seen #StarWarsTheRiseofSkywalker. It’s... a lot. There’s a lot I like and some I loved but overall my feelings are pretty mixed. It felt like an apology for The Last Jedi in some ways and a sequel to The Force Awakens in many, which I found frustrating.

I love a lot of The Last Jedi, and while I know it’s not a perfect movie, I think it’s greater than the sum of its parts. I am still processing TROS, but I find myself feeling the opposite, and like many feel with TLJ, a couple things I didn’t like sour the movie for me.

RISE OF SKYWALKER could only have been ruder to Rian Johnson if they had motion-smoothed it/

Today sucks, you guys.
I have to write a negative review of a Star Wars movie.
I wish I didn’t have to. But I do.
Whatever that ends up being, it’ll publish at 12:01 am PST Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.

I think JJ may have done the impossible:
Pissed off the Star Wars nerds and SJW crybabies...at the same time.

Seeing people reporting online that George Lucas was not present at the premiere last night, nor was he invited
This was the only decent thing to do.
Would you want to be invited to one of your loved ones’ being autopsied?

What does this guy think Rian Johnson did to the rest of the movies?

Add Grace Randolph from Beyond the Trailer to the list of those critics who didn't like the film. She also didn't like The Last Jedi, so it's not just TLJ apologists who are shitting on this one.

So no one likes it beyond a few critics paid by Disney?

If I'm Lucas, I wouldn't want to be there either. They have pretty much just nullified the sacrifices made by the main characters in the OT. Also, Kennedy and Abrams clearly dislike the fact that Anakin is the chosen one. I don't think they even reference Anakin by name in the Disney trilogy.

I'm thinking the Tomatometer will be in the 50-60 range. The box office for this one is going to be very interesting

I hope this is where it is judging by the plot of the film alone. But something tells me Disney is going to be able to buy enough critics to keep the percentage above 70%. I could be completely wrong though.

There are 3 parts to me when it comes to the DT (Disney trilogy).
1. The writing is just bad. Poor character development, too many useless moments/storylines.
2. The social justice shoe in. They seemed to make extra effort to make sure the movie was "represented". This played a role in character development as they took away screentime from the main characters in favor of shoehorned "diversity" characters.
3. They shite on the OT main characters and fricked with the continuity of the first 6 movies. I think most people are willing to tolerate some minor continuity issues, but they have done way more than just minor continuity changes. They've officially retconned the most significant moments and storylines of the entire star wars movie franchise, and they retconned them for very forced and unearned moments, for cheap views.
Disney pulled Palpatine out of the energy reactor and then threw him back into it again, so a woman could be the main person this time.
