So it won’t be spoiled for you. There are some unexpected moments to put it mildly.

All i got to say for the people going to see it this weekend, i dont know why so many critics gave this movie praise. Im a huge star wars fan but this movie has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Its just not a good movie. I really wish they would finish this trilogy and let star wars be done. I liked TFA way more than whatever this is

Damn, now im worried. So glad I'm seeing it in 90 minutes so I can add to the discussion

I don't take rotten tomatoes seriously anymore. Just remember, Attack of the Clones had a 67%

Man, seems audience reviews are all over the place on this one. I don’t know what to expect at this point.

How was the SJW PC themes? This has been my biggest let down with SW and I am thinking about not going just on this. It will ruin the movie for me if it's obvious or even subtle for that matter.

This is one of the most frustrating movies I can remember seeing in quite some time.

I love it, but at the same time I vehemently disagree with the direction they are taking this franchise.

FROm what I can tell, from big Star Wars fans, is this a good summation:

Overall the movie is entertaining with some very good moments and some very bad moments. The Star Wars part of it though, does not go in a great direction?

To be honest, there are a few SJW themes. Women are EVERYWHERE in this movie just for the sake of being a woman. I have a real problem with that. Just make the story good instead of trying to make sure everyone is happy with how many women are in the movie.

Can anyone explain what, exactly, they're referring to when they say stuff like this?

Anyone?

Semi Spoilerish

There is one part where they say it's the worst planet in the galaxy and the next scene shows a bunch of rich people gambling in a casino.

Haven't seen it, but have read the spoilers. I realize that is just dry words on a message board, so-

please reply to this, you can keep it cryptic so it doesn't spoil things in this thread:

Did this movie leave you feeling satisfied with your Star Wars craving?
Does this fit alongside the other movies (especially the OT)?
Did you immediately want to go see it again, upon leaving?
Are you now in a Can't Wait mode for the next film?

I ask this mostly of the fans of the OT, and not those who could care less if it's Star Wars, 5th Element, or other space fantasy film.
Thanks.

Plot aside, how were the visuals?
The battle scenes from the trailers look pretty good?

Generally things like including a specific ratio of female and minority characters solely for the idea of being "diverse"

ETA: Probably the most glaring example is the Ghost Busters remake with all women.
