Let’s give JJ Abrams his share of criticism as well. He decided to do a remake of the original and not have Luke in it at all. frick him

He was in it but for only like 5 seconds. I think they used Luke very well in TFA. The girl arriving on this island at the end and holding out Luke's lightsaber to give him.

Great cliffhanger for the next movie (which sucked swamp arse).

If I were Hamill this movie must feel like he did midget porn and wants the tapes destroyed.

Because people are going to watch this forever, the new generation and this is the last image people have of him from the previous generation.

It must disgust and embarrass him.

That this is how a lot of people will remember him.

"Hamill continued this thought by stating: “Luke, Han and Leia will never be together again"

This quote by him is such a shame. Leia is gone, there is no redoing what they had access to in that first film. As far as I am concerned, it's a total shame these three never got the chance to unite as a group.

Disney wanted the old world gone and now they have it. frick em.

Kennedy and Johnson are pieces of shite. JJ can go frick himself to, because he made some of these decisions for Rian to do what he did in 8.

This just doubles down on me not seeing Episode IX. Roaad and I have a 3 month ban bet going that it doesn’t cross a billion by the time it hits Blu Ray.

I agree with that, I’m mainly thinking of last Jedi tho.

JJ likely had a coherent plan for the trilogy. It’s a fact that Johnson threw his script away for VIII. JJ was silenced like the rest of them.

He started the plan getting rid of the old crowd before we had a reunion and Rian followed it through. The worst part is the only person that is left is the person that can't even act in the movies any longer.

Rian Johnson

is already in production on his 3 movie dealio. It was supposed to be shelved after the shite job he did on other film, and how bad solo tanked.

He going to take a huge turd on the fan base, 3 more times.

How shitty is leadership at Disney??? Do you know how hard it is to frick up star wars and alienate 80% of the base? Hasbro for the first time in their history, lost $$ on Star wars toys/figures. The shite is sitting in bargain bins at dollar stores. You have to hate the series to frick it up this bad.

Star wars is a Money Tree. Disney showed how to kill a money tree. They didn't even need an Bama fan to do this.

To be fair Harrison Ford was only coming back for one movie. Just how ecstatic he was for the whole thing you knew they were killing his character.

I don’t really want to sound fanboyish but it is disappointing how everything has played out with the old characters
It's funny how 'fanboy' becomes a negative.

I mean, it can be an insult when you're being unreasonable as a sports fan, yes.

But this isn't a sporting event with fans of other sides involved. It's not like the Saints game, where the Rams fans are like "frick it, we're going to the Super Bowl", or the Falcons fans laugh their asses off at the Saints' misfortune.
Everyone is/was a fan of Luke, Han, and Leia. They're the Good Guys.

Disney has taken some very questionable stances on purely Good/Evil stories. Maleficent for example, interesting concept, but go watch Sleeping Beauty again, and you have to be a very warped fricker to want Maleficent to win.

Ford signed on knowing how it would go. It was the way he wanted it to go in RotJ.

If knowing what Rian was going to do to Luke in TLJ then yeah I wish he would have been in TFA for a Han and Leia reunion. But I did like the ending of TFA. Her handing him the lighsaber was awesome. Still can't believe they crapped all over what should have been a powerful moment. Unreal really.

Yeah, so the reunion should of happened in TFA. TFA started the whole shitty on Luke's character. He just disappears for that long and left the door open for Rian to just take a shite on Luke becoming a hermit for no damn reason.

Hamill is pretty much a "if you have nothing nice to say..." kind of guy. If he is speaking out, he clearly felt it was necessary.

Stat Wars is about magic space wizards. They need to bring him back.

I keep seeing click bait videos on Youtube saying Luke will be in Episode IX. But, seeing this comments from Hamill makes it sound like it's not happening.
