Yep. I can't get excited for a Star Wars project anymore if Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau aren't involved.

Tony has written a great, scurrilous [take] on how The Deep State is exploding in different places right now, people's rights are disappearing, and 'Andor' reflects that. [In the show] the Empire is taking over, and it feels like the same thing is happening in reality, too."
Fixed it for Fiona.

Have we both not been here almost every day the last month lol?

Outrage and persecution complex’s are the go-to currency on the majority of this site

That’s because you are a disingenuous count.

Angry Joe team really liked. They said it doesn’t feel like Disney Star Wars which is a very good sign. I didn’t even have this series on my radar but I may give it a try

Well I know you’re all sensitive snowflakes

But have you ever tried not being fricking miserable? It’s nice.

You progressives succeeded in demoralizing and converting millions of Americans into nihilists.

Congrats.

That takes skill.

That’s a bit dramatic.

Crying about Disney ruining Star Wats isn’t exactly nihilism.

The mindset you see in this thread isn’t just Star Wars.

It’s almost every entertainment product, from TV, to movies, to sports, etc.

That’s a topic for another thread probably.

I saw an extended clip before the Rogue One re-release and I’m pumped. I’m excited to see Skarsgård in this universe. MCU didn’t capture his acting skills and I hope this does a better job.

If done right (adult approach), it can be very, very good.

He's an assassin, a spy, a saboteur. He does the dirty jobs the Rebellion needs, but doesn't want made public. Remember, he casually killed his contact in Rogue One so he wouldn't be taken and interrogated. His true mission was to kill Galen Erso, not just find him. He killed one of Saw Gerrera's guys during the ambush on Jedha, just because it might blow their cover.

If Bail Organa contacted him instead of Obi-wan, he'd have brought Leia back, leaving a trail of blood behind him.

That's the angle they need to play up. He should be as bad and dirty as anyone the Imperials could send, but on "the right side".

Shes right about that, but it certainly isn't Trump taking over.

It’s like she doesn’t even realize her guy is in power right now. Maybe she doesn’t.
