Can these people just not turn everything into a political or social statement?

Season 2 looks like it will be a fun watch, and hopefully the budget is a little bigger and they can spend more time and money on doing it right

The two issues I had with season 1 were:
1) Ahsoka’s fight scenes, she just looks old and the choreography wasn’t great. But what can you do with an older actress, so I take it for what it is.
2) I hated how Sabine became force sensitive. I personally think it took away from how badass she was and I don’t think you have to be force sensitive to be great in the Star Wars universe.

It was great. Pretty close to the level of Andor IMO.

Imagine the sequels if played out as Lucas originally wanted with Maul as the protagonist as a crime lord.

First season was not great. Lots of very bad decisions. This trailer looks decent. I'm hoping they redeem it.

In the next breath, they'll be wondering aloud why audiences don't care if they get replaced by AI. No one wants a "takeover" of Star Wars by any demographic. That's especially insulting coming from an actress who took over a role from a very talented white voice actress who is greatly responsible for her character being popular.

To be fair, if you ever look at these clips, it's always someone from Variety asking about how gay or diverse the show is, and the actors are left having to ad lib some ridiculous response to not offend. It would be nice if the actors would just deflect, but I would guess they're more afraid of being ostracized if they don't give the interviewer the rage bait response they're looking for.

Chaotic neutral kind of guy. Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Was season 1 good? I disassociated with Star Wars until I binged Andor which was great. Watched the first couple of episodes of Maul which was good.

Trailer looks really good but I havent seen 1 yet.

I'm only excited to see B-Wings finally getting to attack a capital ship like they are supposed to instead of the craptacular "bombing run" we were treated to in the Sequels.

It’s not Andor quality, but not much in Star Wars since 1980 has been. It had issues with fight choreography, but overall it was an entertaining season. If you watched Rebels you will probably like it more than someone that hasn’t. It’s not necessary to go back and watch it, but maybe look for a YouTube recap to understand the basics of how it ended to set up this show.

Definitely finish out the Maul season. That was great and got better each episode.

ETA: I do recommend watching 3 episodes of The Clone Wars.

S3E16 - Altar of Mortis

I dint think SW is pushing that agenda. I think Variety poses these questions and then makes them seem like some big political statement.

The slow speed bombing run was the second worst part of that movie. Gravity isn't a thing in space so that whole scene was dumb. Then they do the Holdo maneuver or the slow speed chase while running out of fuel. Because even after 20,000 years of space flight they still use combustible fuel.

There are a great many candidates for the worst part of that movie.

you'd be wrong unfortunately, although I recognize some of these "journalists" are there to get clips.

The showrunner of Andor gave a pointed interview that the show was an indictment of Trump. they're pretty clear about the agenda

Yeah. When I said that was the second worst I had ten things that could have been the worst. Like making Luke a pansy. Like making Luke want to kill his nephew because he could go bad. Flying Leia. God that movie was so horrible.
