Seeing claims that Season 3 is set to premier June 27th.
So at least its a short wait in comparison to a lot of seasons.

I hope that's true.

It would be more humane than stints in between seasons of stranger things and Cobra Kai.

I think the creator insisted they film the seasons together so he can move on. From what I’ve read, I don’t think he was too excited when Netflix renewed the show.
We are also getting an American version created by David Fincher at some point.

Has season 3 already filmed? I assumed it's all done and they are just holding it

It will not be a hit like this has been.

That's my understanding.

I don’t know if I will watch 3. 2 ended so dumb. And the dumbfricks keep voting to continue with people getting killed left and right before their eyes. Totally unrealistic.

Struggling to get through s02. S01 was real good.

Agree, they did a good job... But still not believable that as coordinated and buttoned up as the games are, they would allow 456 back in.
I didn’t really have a problem with this at all. 456 kind of explained the logic when he was in the limo - having him there is a wildcard to drum up interest from the rich people betting on the games. It’s added entertainment. Especially with the new element of letting the players vote after each game. I would imagine that the viewers are betting on this outcome as well, and 456 being there creates a whole new dimension. “Can he convince these degenerates to vote in their own self-interest? Let’s find out!” Hell they’re probably betting on whether the remaining players kill him at the start of S3.
The people running the games feel like they’re untouchable. Their ability to predict the behavior of this group has been a huge focus of the show. And they’ve been one step ahead of 456 the whole time anyway. On top of that, they have a sleeper who is monitoring his plans on the inside.

I enjoyed it. It's annoying that it just stops midstream and of course they had to shoehorn a tranny in there, but overall, it was well done.

If you like over the top violence then you'll like I Saw the Devil. To me, it was way too long & became very repetitive. There's alot of Korean thrillers that I would rate ahead of it.

you kinda contradicted yourself there. the police force doesn't believe him and don't seem to even acknowledge that the number he is claiming take part in the games matches a number of people that go missing at the same time every year.
yeah, that's my whole point. all these people are dying and disappearing and it's not matching up. that's what im saying. there is no explanation for it in universe.

It's not like the contestants are the pillars of society. They're all degenerate gamblers, social media influencers and folks who are otherwise up to their eyeballs in debt to the mob and worse.

It’s a great movie and also very disturbing. You’ve been warned.

An average of 127 missing persons reports involving children are filed each day in Korea, government data showed Thursday. The data also reveal that more than 70,000 adults disappear every year, with over 1,000 of them being found dead.

From the Korea Harold. So, yeah, 400-500 people won’t be noticed.

People are getting too worked up about the tranny. The lack of wokeness wouldn't prevent trans from existing. The initial reaction to him/her from the other players was not one of wokeness. Some warmed up after they realized he/she was actually a good player.
Someone else complained about the trans being like Rambo, but a military special ops trained individual is no less likely to be trans than anyone else.
Not trans, but the baddest Navy Seal I ever knew was gay as hell.
At least this was 1/456+ trans (+ because there is no indication any non-player characters are trans) plus there are no openly gay people that I recall. That's a hell of a lot better than American shows that act like 50% are gay and 1/10th are trans.
