the issue i had was Ned being able to open portals while it took Strange some time to even learn that.

I’ll say with Steange there was a lot of mental stuff, obviously he hadn’t steadied his hand yet, etc.
Ned, Peter, and all the kids at his school kind of have this exaggerated self confidence, calmness, and comfort level that I think makes it funny that it was so simple. He mentions “my grandma says we have magic in the family and I have this tingle in my finger”, which makes it seem like he’s spent a while thinking he’s magic. Strange didn’t even believe magic existed. He thought it was drugs, and was married to western medicine and science.

Just watched the movie and holy crap. I really didn't believe they could bring in the other Spider-Men without it being hokey, but they totally nailed it. Just a fantastic movie. I cried when Andrew Garfield saved MJ. Was an amazing pay off of the Gwen Stacy story. Just awesome.
I could not be more happy with that film. Easily right up there with Endgame and Infinity War. Definitely in contention for best MCU film.

I just hate that they didn't stand on a circle and point at each other

Excellent Movie! Will definitely go watch it a second time

But they did point at each other. So, I thought that was an appropriate amount of subtlety to give the meme a nod but not be too forced.

They did the pointing meme... they all pointed at each other in the exact same pose as the meme... doing it in full costume in an alley in front of a truck would have not flowed well with the movie.
Plot holes, its a fricking comic book movie and you don't need to nit pick every little thing that isn't fully explained.
Movie was great, it brought together 20 years of spider man movies and furthered the main story arc of the MCU in a very fun, watchable movie. Now if it wasn't $50+ for two tickets, drinks and a popcorn... I got spoiled watching new releases at home.

Was definitely a reminder of why I don't like watching movies in a theater.

Just got home from watching it. I must say, it was phenomenal how they shoehorn just so much into a movie and still exceeded my expectations.
I realize that I am in the VAST minority when I say that Garfield is my favorite Spider-Man. I grew up in the 90s and he comes across as what I remember Todd McFarlane drew and wrote in Spider-Man comics. I think Sony really did him wrong not completing his trilogy. Garfield was such a fan of Spider-Man akin to Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool. You could tell it was just a childhood dream come true for him at his comicon reveal. I hope this outing for him in no way home helped him with some closure and to say a proper goodbye for his version of the character. He deserved better.

When Garfield caught Zendaya and was fighting back tears that shite hit hard. I loved him as Spiderman and thought his movies were shite writing. He's a great actor and owned all of this shite.

Fricking great movie. Only complaint with this trilogy so far is that I want to see more “small-time Spidey” where he just fights normal crime. One of the best parts of Spider-Man is him showing up to a car-jacking and the criminals going “holy shite, are we about to get our arse kicked by a superhero over this”. Just one scene like that a movie would be nice.

yeah, and remember with Ryan Reynolds how well his first go at Deadpool went...was really great to see Andrew get another shot

I would be stoked if both Garfield and Tobey got new movies

Now that Kingpin is back, it would be great to see the two go at it.

Kind of hope the next movie is daredevil and spiderman vs kingpin and maybe black cat

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Andrew makes an appearance in Morbius.

I kept waiting for a sixth villian to show up, and this ended up being my only disappointment in the movie lol. I had this feeling that either Vulture or Mysterio (with the explanation that his death was an illusion or some shite like that) would show up to form the sinister six.
