IMO marvel has done Miles a huge disservice by not giving him a different code name. Ben Reilly has been Scarlet Spider, Miguel Spidey 2099, Gwen is Ghost Spider or whatever.

Meh with these movies and the games Miles has become pretty popular and his suit is different enough that people are able to understand which is which

Movie was incredible. Brilliantly done, animation and artwork is amazing, the amount of easter eggs and call backs was fantastic.

My only complaint is that it is long. I don’t understand why people can’t edit anymore, this didn’t need to be 2 hours.

Completely disagree. It could have gone on another hour and I still would have been invested.

It was definitely long for a cartoon although cartoon is just definitely the medium, not the type of movie. We were 2 hours plus and I was thinking they’re not even close to resolving this and got hit with TBC which I wasn’t expecting.

I enjoyed it and I feel like they got permission/budget to up everything from the first one in a good way. It was a bit overwhelming for me, a lot like No Way Home.

I’d rather stick needles in my dick than watch that shite again. Holy frick was that terrible. Then after 2.5 hours of nonsense they don’t even finish the fricking thing.

Stop the cap

Movie was excellent. I think I enjoyed the first one more because of how unique it was but this was really good. It was definitely a much bigger movie and maybe they got a little sloppy managing that?

Will see again

Excellent? The story line was all over the place. Plot holes everywhere. Part 2 will need to be six hours to tie any of that bull shite together. Writers were pretentious that got too cute.

Isn't it amazing that nobody has issues with a black Spiderman like they do with other characters like The Little Mermaid? It's ALMOST as if the issue is not race at all but a lack of good storytelling and original ideas.

Well it is also just organic, right? That's the entire thing about the multiverse and the history laid out in comics well before the woke stuff.

We saw it yesterday and I enjoyed this one as much as the first. I'd put it just slightly behind 1 if I had to rank but we are talking very little distance between the two. Excited for the next one. Hoping Porky Spiderman has a bigger role. My favorite spidey.

Your favorite yet you don’t know he’s known as Spider-ham?

Lol, Donald Glover used to receive death threats when he first brought up wanting to play a black Spider-man.

I didn't. Just like the idea of the character.

Kinda false. Disney took over in 2009 and started woking around then. Miles Morales was in 2011. It’s what lead to butch Captain Marvel, Kamala Kahn, characters suddenly being gay, etc.

Don’t disagree that the both films are excellent and stand on their own merit. 2 of the best I’ve ever seen. That has more to do with Lorde and Miller than the source material.

I meant more the idea of the multiverse than a specific character - but I did not know Miles wasn't created until 2011. I thought it was further back. And I consider the "woke stuff" starting in 2020 but you seem correct in it starting earlier for Disney.
