Spartacus: Blood and Sand

This is a really good show.
Just finished the first season. I know it's an old show but, please don't spoil it for me.
I've never seen the Kirk Douglass movie. But, I'm enjoying seeing how Spartacus came to be.
Some of the blood spatter is kind of weird but it's still a fun show. I enjoyed a lot of the fighting scenes.
The lies, deception and greed rival GOT.
I know there are other series. House of Ashur. Gods of the Arena, Vengeance Unleashed. hoping to get those at some point.
Damn! This show has more nudity than even GOT.
Naked women walking around constantly. Even the stands in the arena are full of topless women.
Full frontal nudity galore. shite, even in the first episode the blonde chick with the nice rack has a full frontal scene.
Full frontal of both male and female, for those who are into that.
For the most part, I don't recognize a lot of the actors. But, I noticed a few familiar faces.
Katrina Law who was in Hawaii 5-0 and currently stars in NCIS. Topless many times. Even has a few full frontal scenes.
Jet black hair ( my favorite), great rack and a nicely groomed black patch.
Lucy Lawless of Xena fame even has her glorious rack on display several times.

Vengeance and Unleashed are just the names of seasons 2 and 3 of the main series.
Gods of the Arena is a prequel series that should be watched after season 1. They made GotA because the actor that plays Spartacus, Andy Whitfield, was diagnosed with cancer and they wanted to give him time to complete treatment. Unfortunately he passed away so they replaced him for season 2 and 3.
Do not watch House of Ashur. It’s fan-fiction and I’m pretty sure Starz is dropping it from streaming for a tax write-off.

Thanks for the warning. Ashur is sort of the Little Finger of this show. He's mixed up in pretty much every plot. Despicable character but, he plays a big part in most everything.

There are all kinds of interviews with the actors about this. The props department made basically panties for the women with hair attached and they made drawers for the guys with the big dong on the front. It's kind of funny to hear them talk about it in the interviews.

It is a very fun series to watch and you will get caught up in it as you go. Its is a great series. And you need to watch it in order. Mounds of T&A but in the end, its a great show and you will love it.

Starz had a good run with this and Black Sails. I didn't like this as much but there a lot of naked Xena Warrior princess in there.
Gannicus' win in the final episode in the little prequel that came out while Whitfield was dealing with cancer was an absolute delight.
Probably the best action sequence for an entire episode outside of a great GoT scene.

Nothing better than finding a great show after watching for one season only to find there are more seasons to go.Spartacus is one of them.

I appreciate the natural beauty of most of the women before fake boobs and duck lips became the norm for Hollywood.
And, wow, did they have some great dentist in Spartacus's day. I don't know why, but perfect teeth in all of TV shows irks me. It kills any realism of the era.
