I don't know if even Mel Brooks has the juice to get that done in this climate. I hope he does, but we all know most of his films would be protested today.
Josh Gad will be co-writing and starring in this sequel if that tells us anything.

How is Mel Brooks so spry at the age of 98?

I'm 100% going to watch purely b/c Rick Moranis is coming back. Miss his acting so much.

Good point. I thought Maverick was gong to suck and be a huge bomb. I saw it four times in the theaters it was so much fun. It was what we want from movies. I feel similar about Mission Impossible movies and the good mcu films.

History of the world Part 2 must not have been very good, I haven't heard much about it since it was announced. I checked online reviews and they are low. I don't have high hopes for this.

Mel Brooks is 98 years old...the man is barely alive...

Means he could go all out, who is going after a 98 year old?

Daphne Zuniga is 62. And looks it.
Wonder if Rachel Zegler will play their daughter...

Unless it mercilessly skewers Disney Star Wars, it won't succeed.
Disney has given them a mountain of material.

Bill Pullman came back to life?
Posted on 6/12/25 at 4:19 pm to theunknownknight
Bill Pullman's alive.
Bill PAXTON is dead. (He died 8 years ago)
Sheesh. Folks are STILL mixing them up!

The part that I have trouble with is that Edge of Tomorrow came out in 2014.
Speaking of which supposedly Emily Blunt wants to do a sequel. That would be a difficult one to match the quality of the first one.
