You know what was South Park doing Trump being funny? The first season with PC Principal, that was funny but they’re being paid to do something else now. Sold out

I saw a lot of people on the OT lounge thread talking about how South Park always hits both sides.. yadda yadda. They're not true watchers like most of us. They've seen funny clips or maybe an episode or two.
The show has completely changed to the point its not funny and I've watched every season since I was maybe 10 years old. It had fallen off in my opinion during the 2016 election with the serialization.. Then it kinda picked back up, but has now turned into complete garbage.

I've said before, constantly reeeeeing over Trump must be in their actual contract. And it's so brainless that I'm starting to doubt they even write it anymore, like at all. It's the kind of shite angry middle schoolers would write.

Making fun of Trump has been repetitive but the show lost its fastball when they brought in Tegridy Farms and took the main focus away from the 4 main boys with some Butters.
As a supporting character nobody beats Randy, as a major character he kinda sucks.

Just like with stand up, if you do edgy comedy and then apologize for a joke. . .you irrevocably lose the edge.
I tried coming back every once in a while, but it all felt shallow and the humor became safe and obvious since covid.
I haven't watched a single episode since Streaming Wars in 2022

In a vacuum the “South America” joke is pretty funny. But the fact that they let four years of Biden go completely untouched and now being political again makes me just not respect it at all.

Doing a single episode poking fun at the renaming stuff would be fine abd they could actually make it funny.

They left tegridy farms last season. Was a great season
