Could be funny to start off the next episode with Trump talking on TV and then Stan turning it off saying “I’m sick of this politics shite, let’s just go back to having fun.” And then have a funny episode in no way related to politics. That’s all that’s needed.
I’m not sure if they have the humility to pull that off anymore. I’d imagine this entire situation has been very odd for them. His parody was decent, not great but on par with the show these days.. a true return to the boys would be a refreshing turn but their egos may not allow that….

Theyve been delaying new episodes ever since the first one this season. Think they are just not committed to the week by week timeframe anymore

That would be perfect honestly.
And I don’t think they owe an apology about parodying Charlie. I thought that was a good parody and kind of classic South Park.

Kamala is just another globalist pawn. Nobody cares about her besides maga cultists that still bring her up for some reason.
Both choices sucked, but 65% of Americans swallowed their dignity and voted for one of the 2 party candidates

How about make regular episodes of South Park again and just focus on the boys being boys?
This would be a perfect time to do just that. Go back to what made the show a classic to begin with.

I mean last episode was pretty normal. Butters trying to impress a girl by buying/winning her a prize. The girl is just using him. They also have an evil secret behind the dolls ala chinpokomon.
Yeah there were a few trump moments but it only tied into the main story at the very end.

Is this them just not getting it done in time or does it have to do with Charlie Kirk? I do think most would be surprised if the event is not somehow addressed in the next episode.
Possibly a little with Charlie, but for years now they have been making the episodes week-of and then trying to squeeze in other timely things at the last minute. Eventually that sort of schedule was going to bite them in the arse.

While true, this season they moved to episodes every 2 weeks because they just couldn't do the weekly schedule anymore. So, they had two weeks on this episode. I'd say its probably a pretty safe bet the way this one went down, it probably had some of Kirk in it and they had to scrap and start fresh and just couldn't get it done in their old week of schedule, when they had been on a 2 week schedule.
Maybe they just couldn't get it done in 2 weeks this week. Ultimately it is irrelevant. I've said all season I hope they get back to more of the kids just being kids.

6 days to air has been their operation for decades now.
They don’t start working on an episode until six days before it airs. One of the reasons it’s always so topical and never dated.

Strong possibility they are scrambling to remove and rewrite Cartman as Kirk gags or references to political violence from the rest of the season.

Either a Kirk thing or their ratings thus far have been crap.

It's gotta be this I'd imagine. That was likely a large theme for the season and they of course would want to take it out.
Wish they'd scrap all the current event political crap, but won't hold my breath on that.
