Solo, Rogue One and the TV show The Mandalorian were all light years ahead of the last three "Star Wars" movies. There isn't even any comparison.

It's the best of the Disney movies but that's not saying much

They all have something miss without Lucas’ voice in them. It’s noticeable when watching his 6 movies and even the content that came out under his Lucas film vs modern content.

Never saw it and have no inclination. Disney destroyed Star Wars and I saw the original in the theatres in the 70's. Don't need a gay droid.

I did see Rouge 1 and did like it though.

It was.

Rogue One was the best movie of the new offerings.

Yes! Alden Ehrenreich, Glover, Woody, and Bettany were excellent. Alden and Glover have some hilarious moments that fit well with the storyline and nothing forced (no pun intended). The intro of Chewy was a riot.

Only thing kinda stupid was the Glover/Droid love thing. That could have been toned down, IMO.

But, yeah, the story, pace, comedy, effects, and suspense were top-noth. Too bad this movie wasn't promoted as much due to the absence of Harrison Ford and the dismissal of Alden as a worthy, young Solo. I think Alden knocked it out the park, thouggh.

It was good.

Rogue One, then Solo, then The Force Awakens.

Andor, Mandalorian, and Kenobi were the best shows.

It really was, and also a victim of bad timing. I’d have absolutely watched a sequel with that cliffhanger

Rogue One is one of my favorite Star Wars movies, regardless as to when it was released

Andor - Great
Mando - Great start and then a steep decline

The prequel movies were pretty bad. Bad casting and bad writing. At least Disney did a decent job with casting, the characters (as well as everything else) were just poorly written.

I think Star Wars is a view into a young Lucas's spirit. He started writing these stories when he was still a kid. Why did everything that came later in Star Wars suck? It wasn't made by the same person.
