Well you’re right alot of it is choppy and parts of things that were changed obviously stick out. The dwarves however had casting call announcements back in 2021 and 2022 so they weren’t retroactively put into the movie after the backlash. They were always in the movie though they might have wanted to change them to be called magical creatures. The bandits were added just to service the narrative that changed the prince’s identity.
