This is beyond pathetic. 30 mins before a showing for a huge IP behind one of the biggest movie studios and only 3 tickets for an afternoon showing. Typically on Sundays your 12 to 7 pm showings for the most audience. LSU has no sports today on campus.
No way to spin this as a total movie disaster that should never have been made. Disney had plenty of time to make changes but wanted to be stubborn.

And? The gender roles have been reversed, she’s the masculine who saves the “bandit” twice because he can’t be a prince, that’s too white supremacy-ey even though she’s a princess and a monarch, which is fine because she’s a woman. She also doesn’t help the dwarves, instead she commands them. And her policy when she becomes ruler is to implement communism throughout her kingdom.

They did make changes, several actually. The dwarves started off as regular sized people of all races. After the backlash, they decided to use CGI dwarves. They kept trying to please everyone but it backfired. This was Disney at their worst.

Agree to disagree. I've seen the movie and I believe the bandits were meant to be the dwarves, or replace the dwarves. The bandits feel like its their parts that were really cut down in post-production JMHO

The public is largely over these lazy, inferior live action remakes.
Casting Zegler was terrible even before the political shite.
The woke washing of the story was awful as was their handling of the Dwarves.
Zegler is a moron and proceeded to triple down on being annoying and controversial at every turn.
And finally there is a very strong anti Gal Gadot contingent out there too, mostly just because she's Israeli.
So yeah, they pissed off both sides of the political spectrum, people who love the original version and story, and they made a shite movie on top of those things.
One of the most deserved failures in history.
