Just read and watched a theory saying that he might return in Star Wars 9. Sorry of Germans. What are your thoughts?

Interesting Theory

Depends. Would it be the worst possible thing for Rey to hear? Because that is what we are going for.

I haven't seen the latest star wars and i'm already tired of it. Episode 7 was the same story line as episode 4. The one about the death star, is such garbage. They created a movie simply to explain away a plot hole from the original 3 movies. And i hear the latest movie isn't some gem. Disney needs to pull the plug on star wars and kill the franchise before they further alienate fans and viewers.

What I have learned is that if you are Vader or Greivous and you lose half of your body parts and are burned to the point of death, you can be put back together with machines and live on. But, if you are Maul or Snoke and get cut in half, then dead.

Why would anyone care? It’s not like they ever said who Snoke was or wasn’t. He’s a throw away character at this point.

And if he wasn’t dead, would Hux have acted like he did towards Kylo?

Seriously, they crapped the bed big with this movie. Villains are blah and hero’s are disposable. I don’t care about either at this point. I’m ok if they would have all died at the end of the movie.

Snoke will be back and it will be via some stupid contrivance.

Our best case scenario is that Snoke was able to transfer his consciousness to Hux, which would explain why that idiot gets kept around despite being totally incompetent.

I don't watch the cartoons. I did not know. So then that is three of four. Snoke should come back for sure.

In cannon, Sidious transferred his spirit into other bodies. Maybe Sidious was Snoke all along and now was looking for a new body??

If Snoke returns that makes TLJ even more pointless. I seriously wonder why Rian Johnson even bothered.

Darth Maul reappeared in the Clone Wars series, and the Clone Wars are considered canon in the Star Wars Universe.

The Clone Wars is not a cartoon, cartoons are 2D, the Clone Wars is computer animated. You should watch it, its probably some of George Lucas's best work in terms of storytelling in the Star Wars universe, and Disney doesn't seem to censor it much either. I was personally shocked at how good it is, there's some good story lines.

Darth Maul coming back to life was lame. Anakin though, I mean, his legs were cut off.

Snoke was sliced right through through his digestive organs.
