love Dwight in this movie
I saw him on one of the late-night shows after the movie was released. He said he believed he did a good job with his character when he watched the movie with his mom and she cheered when Doyle was killed.

Probably the most I’ve laughed in a movie that isn’t a comedy

Memorable villains make great movies. DY put on a master class of how to be an a-hole.

One feller said the water was cold, the other said it was deep. I believe one feller was from Arkansas.
Get it?

I mean… it’s ok. Not really worth seeing multiple times. It’s not going to make anyone forget Grease 2

Melody and tune, that's your trade. You're a tunesmith.

That movie was filmed in my hometown.
Not sure if I should admit that but

Doyle in my opinion was a grownup version of Tanner Boyle from the original bad news bears, character-wise. They do rhyme.

One of the best unintentional (or possibly intentional) comedies ever made. Dwight Yokem was one of the funniest characters ever.

Hey is this the kind of retard that drools and rubs shite in his hair and all that, 'cause I'm gonna have a hard time eatin' 'round that kind of thing now. Just like I am with antique furniture and midgets. You know that, I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a midget or a piece of antique furniture.

When he throws the bottle through the windows it is one of the hardest times I've ever laughed.

I can’t find a clip but I love how Bill Cox goes from telling the dirty joke about the guys pissing off the bridge to saying “Carl I’ve been thinking and it’s just not Christian of me not to give you a key.”

Agreed.
Another great scene was when the non-retarded guys couldn’t figure out why the lawn mower wouldn’t crank. They’re stumped.
Then Carl walks up, looks into it and says “hmmmp, ain’t got no gas in it.” I flat out rolled at the irony of the moment.
