Shows whose 1st season was the best

Whenever inclimate weather makes it difficult to enjoy the outdoors, I like to binge-watch some of my favorite programs on DVD. Are there programs that you like that in your opinion were never as great as their first season? For instance, I thought that Breaking Bad only got better over its run. On the other hand, my opinion is that Dexter was never as good as the first season. Any others?

Point taken. Season 4 was great also. I just like season 1 more. The other six aren't comparable to me, with the last season being quite possibly the worst conclusion to a series IMO.
