Scott looks 15yrs younger get in the show than real life. The interview with him and Stiller really shows his age. Never knew he was in his 50s
I feel the complete opposite.

It's unsettling. Just like everything else in the show. It reminds me of Jim Jones, which strains against his character being the good guy (so far)

Stuff like that keeps making me think Milcheck is severed or fully controlled by the company in some way.
I was on board with Milchick being severed until the paintings and his approach to Natalie to see if she had the same reaction.
If he's severed, why would his "innie" have any feeling/reaction to those paintings? The innies are wildly ignorant of the world outside...like the sky's appearance. So they're either built from the ground up to necessary function/memory...or they're whittled down from complete to minimally functional. Either way, why load up all that history into the innie when you could just make them ignorant of all racial strife throughout history?

Yeah, It's like they aged him 15 years from Parks and Rec if not more.

And when Helina was getting dunked by Irv she shouted out Seth like it was maybe his outies name and he responded to that. He didn't seem severed in that situation imo.

He's been called Seth a few times.

The biggest surprise was that the last episode wasn't sanctioned by Lumon
I took it as upper middle management corporate handwashing
One of those if it works your boss takes credit but when it fails it’s your fault

Ahh, didn't know that. That was the first time I recalled them calling him that on the inside.

Mark was acting so weird because he doesn’t know how to tell Helly that he fricked Helena

I think Helena, Natalie, maybe Cobel and Dylan's wife have all called him Seth.

I loved that scene. Just a literal in-your-face threat saying "don't frick with me."
I must also add that we have not addressed Milkshake's impeccable hair throughout the series. Not a single hair is ever out of place.

I have seen some people postulating ha she is Gemma/Mrs. Casey somehow rebuilt with whatever they were doing on the testing floor
For the same reason I've wondered if the face-obscured guy we saw during the opening might be Petey.
Corbel removed his chip in the coffin, and Mr. Graner was testing it.
He could have been repurposed.

Is the Milchick issue with the paintings, and his specific concerns expressed to Natalie, related to them being weird and creepy, or is he implying that its racist in someway?
Im getting the latter and thats just a bizarre thing to place in this universe. It also doesnt make any sense to me.

How does he know about the dark hallway he has painted?
Similar to Ms. Casey, Irving appears to have gone to the testing floor since that's the elevator he's been painting.
When innie Irving is trying to leave and Dylan is summoned by Milkshake (S2E1), I think Irving (left alone) was scooped up and taken back for "reprogramming," which is why he appears later, suddenly ready to stay on and continue working.
This would also fit with him being so concerned with the rules on the inside, while his outie is a bit more rebellious — maybe he's been carefully adjusted to fill some ancillary role, more than once, and his bleed-though is seeing that hallway over and over again.

This would track with a theory I have...that they revealed the whole plot at the beginning of the series in episode one. When Mark S is having his first face to face discussion with Helly, and Helly asks "did you grow me as food and that's why I have no memory",
Mark S replies:
"You think we grew a full human... gave you consciousness....did your nails...and..."
Could be off base, but this may be one of those things where the answer was revealed to us all along.
They are doing something with humans/life/death/consciousness/etc....just a matter of what exactly

quote:Yep. Dylan even asked “who is Seth?” And Ms Huang told the wife to STFU basically. Innies don’t know Milkshake’s first name. Or didn’t anyway.
Dylan's wife have all called him Seth.
