She and the Janitor are in the next episode, which apparently the season finale. (I hate where we are with serial TV now where nine ~22 minute episodes constitutes a season).
It's the British model and it sucks.
On-topic great last episode although the gay stuff with Dr. Park is too much because every other line out of his mouth is about being bi. The nurses also continue to be awful and they need to be replaced in season 2.

Star Trek The Next Generation. 26 episodes. Now shows can barely muster 10. And that was a series with lots of sets and effects.
9 episodes of a comedy is fracking ridiculous. I guess maybe they just weren't greenlit for a full season.
I mean the office is a good example. It was a mid season replacement with 6 episodes.

Another good episode. They are really doing a great job with this reboot.
These writers are damn good.
My wife and I watch each episode together and I try holding back my tears. I hear sniffling, gaze at her, and then feel permission to curse the writers while dragging a thumbnail across each eye, for knowing how to get in some good laughs as well as tugging at my feels every single episode.
This show is so…

Everything about the episode was on point. The ending was reminiscent of "My Screw Up" (where Dr. Cox was in denial about Ben's death and JD breaks it for the audience with "Where do you think we are?"), right in the damned feels.

I blame NBC for telling Bill L they were getting canceled after season 6. That's why the writers had lavergne get in the car accident and die. They were never planning on killing her off until then. She would have replaced the 2 nurses and I would have zero complaints about this revival. Lavergne fit in perfect for this show.

gay stuff with Dr. Park
If they had the balls that they had back in 2001 we could have the todd make fun of him for being gay.

That last episode was heavy but incredible
The rule of thirds callback to original and the intern screw up hit me in the feels even before Cox. They did the Cox JD stuff very well.

Looks like the whole cast was just at Paley Fest in LA. They aired the finale for everyone to watch. Sources say it's just even better than My Odds. I'm sure we will hear about Scrubs renewal in the next week.
Hoping for 15-18 episode season. Seems like a perfect number.
It's wild everyone had their doubts about bringing this back saying it was a money grab or they were out of work. Looks like they knew what they were doing all along.

Is this your third different account that you've posted from in this thread?

Me not starting the Scrubs thread would be like CocomoLSU, SUB, Freauxzen, TigerMyth, or Fear not starting the old Fringe threads. It just wouldn't be right.
Always respected those guys opinions on this show. Also now respect yours after the Roaad argument.

When are you starting the season? I can't wait to hear your reaction after some of these episodes.

You know Todd was revealed to be bi, right?

Would be difficult to have a 76 year old nurse in the show, though.

The Todd probably hooked up w/him though. Dude went bi himself during the original run.

Scrubs: One of the biggest surprises of the season may be Scrubs, which has averaged 0.48 over its first eight episodes, securing its place as ABC's #1 scripted program of the season

Scrubs will end its first season this week, and there's no risk of this first season being its last. Creator Bill Lawrence has already teased the possibility of a longer second season of the revival, strengthening the possibility of an ABC comedy expansion next year.

I can't remember if it's in the episode when Carla and Elliot think he's gay and are trying to help him come out but at some point he says he appreciates hotness no matter the gender. He's also in a thruple in a later season w/a pair of poly doctors it seems pretty clear he's banging both the husband and wife.
