Everything she is a part of so far on the show has been awful.

I also think they are going a little overboard on the HR stuff. It’s not like the original show went by HR standards at the time. They need to be able to better make fun of it and have fun with it

Also the black female surgery resident needs some funny quirks instead of trying to make her the normal one. No regular character was ever normal. I have not finished the 2nd episode yet, so maybe she shows something that will make her fit in. I had to stop watching when the HR nazi was just in the scene with the unfunny version of a 2 snaps and around the world charge nurse and the also so far unfunny black female nurse. They definitely make me miss Laverne and Laverneagain.

The TikTok intern is annoying which is just a real social influencer but is just annoying to watch. The larger white male intern is annoying. The bisexual great at sex Asian doctor is also annoying (why didn’t the HR nazi show up for that or when he spanked the male doctor on his arse).

The original shows best interns or residents were the main 3 characters, but the others were still so much better than the current group so far. The other leads and the reoccurring characters in original were far better than the current ones so far. It’s ok so far because the original mains are still the mains, but the new characters need a lot of work. The janitor started off as reoccurring, so there is a possibility a minor character today becomes a bigger player.

I still can’t get used to Turk’s teeth. They distracted me when he was on Ray Donovan.

I also watched some episodes of season 4. I forgot that Jordan was pretty hot. Some say Turk and Carla were the main relationship of the series, but I always liked Dr Cox and Jordan better than any other relationship on the show. Turk and Carla obviously had the better relationship, but Dr Cox and Jordan were more interesting.

75% of the speculation and questions in this thread could be answered by watching the 20 minute cast interview. They explain why they made certain decisions and what the future holds. Specifically the decision with Dr cox and why they made JD and Elliot get divorced.

Wow thanks for filling us in man

The main three have been good. The side characters, not so much. No janitor, no Ted (RIP), no grumpy old Kelso, no Doug, etc.

i love the side characters outside of SNL girl. The 2 nurses behind the counter are only on for 10 seconds so i don't even remember them. Wish Lavergne could come back and replace them

No janitor,

Janitor is on this season

no Ted (RIP

Ted will be in the storyline this season.

no grumpy old Kelso

If we get picked up he will be on season 2

quote:

no Doug

we don't know that yet. He could make a cameo like he does in the original show. Many others will make cameo's you haven't mentioned. Plus we got the Todd and Hooch already in 2 episodes.
Doug is a lawyer in real life

I meant more the quality of the character. Ted was good for several laughs per episode. Doug as well. Janitor was always present. The new characters aren't filling those roles that well, at least not yet.

You keep saying “we.”

Do you work on the show?

It's been apart of my life for 25 years so I have made it a point to treat it like LSU sports.

I just realized the opening theme song instead of putting the chart on JD just swipes up on the Ipad to reveal the scan.

Is that show after scrubs any good? Abbott Elementary ?

No clue, but the crossover they did with Always Sunny in Philadelphia sucked.

Another solid episode.

This is the real test though. The debut was always going to rake numbers, but now we have to see if those numbers don't crater once the excitement of the return wears off.

I loved the JD wrestling fantasies

no doubt but the numbers were so high it would have to crater like 70% of its audience to not get picked up at this point. The numbers pretty much doubled or tripled anything on linear tv at this point.

Hell Abbott Elementary just got picked for its 6th season I checked and they did a .34 demo last episode it aired. Scrubs did .66 and 3 day .76

Just checked Scrubs is still the number 1 show on Disney Plus after 7 days. It's stronger than ever at this point.

we are 3-3 so far with the revival. I'm still shocked at how smooth the transition has been.

Solid episode last night.

Turk's mouth/teeth stood out to me last night more than last week. It's very distracting.

It almost felt like last night they started the slow road back to JD and Elliott getting together.

The two black/gay charge nurses have already worn out their welcome from me. They are getting worse and having them randomly in scenes just commenting on everything is beyond awful.

I liked the new IT guy. He was funny.

While I liked this episode, the show noticeably suffers without Dr. Cox. I really hope he comes back full time (I know he's in some episodes and will allegedly be back if the show continues, but still).

Still waiting on Mr. Jan Itor.

I can't tell if the Tosh intern is hot or not. I'm leaning toward yes though.

Same. Last night's episode was fantastic. Just like the during the original run, there's such a good balance of comedy and heartfelt moments.

I know they're professional actors, but it's amazing how perfectly they've slid into their old roles. If the main cast didn't look visibly older, I'd never guess that Season 9 was almost 16 years go.

I hadn't noticed it until someone mentioned it last week and now I can't unsee it.

he fixed his teeth in season 4 of scrubs I wanna say

I think that slow road is just friendship. They will both have love interest

they are terrible luckily they are only in the show for 10 seconds each episode. Lavergne would have really been so much better than these 2

I like her. I say hot. Like someone said earlier she's a version of colby smulderss

No this is different. He went the "I got veneers too big for my mouth" route.

That is my hope. But I am no confident in that. They always had other love interests throughout the OG show as well.

They should bring her back as sort of a guardian angel type. The actress is still alive. But she would be great to help out with everyone's emotional shite this season (and there's a lot of it). I don't know why I was thinking the actress herself had died too, but she is still alive (75 years old) per google.
