2 is my favorite because of nostalgia. I think it was the first time I ever got drunk in high school, and we were watching it at a buddy's house. good times.

I agree, though most people seem to like 2.
I think all the 8 Mile and Signs stuff just get me.

1 has the best intro and the best twist ending, though.

The Architect: We loved our daughter very much, but she was evil. Made the horses crazy. Killed our puppies. Hid the remote. Really sick shite. My wife took her to the old family farm and drowned her in the well. I felt a simple time-out would have been sufficient.

I always like George breaking Brenda's death too.

George: Sue's teacher, Brenda. She's... She's dead.

Tom: Oh. I better tell her.

George: No, no, no. I can do it. Sue?

Sue: Yes?

George: You know your teacher, Miss Brenda?

Sue: Yeah.

George: She's dead!

Sue: Aah!

George: Gone forever! Died a horrible, painful death! Gone, gone, gone, just like your dog!

Sue: My dog's dead?

George: I just ran him over with the car when I drove in! Everyone you love around you is dying!

I watched 1 and 2 lately, they definitely held up and were awesome. It's a shame that the genre saw their success (and NATM) and churned out the most utterly retarded filth you can even dream of. Disaster movie, spartan movie, etc.

Yep, that was pretty much the end of quality Hollywood satire. Spoofs, and then comedy movies in general, pretty much died completely in the late 2000’s/early 2010s.

Seriously, name 5 excellent comedies released since 2015.

You can thank the exploding comic book/tent pole industry for that.

Studios earmark so much damn money on huge franchises chasing marvel money, they want nothing to do with risky comedy movies

Studios instead are focusing their smaller ventures on horror instead of comedy because there’s a much better history of horror movies being able to operate on a peanut budget while having a large return. Even some of the biggest comedy properties over the years don’t make a lot of box office money

I do love the scene with David Cross and Chris Elliot when they're trading jabs.

"You look familiar to me, were you in Stomp?"

I think that's my favorite one. I'm just gonna post the scene because it's so good.

I saw it in theaters too, with my mom. People were walking out during the dick scene and my mom wanted to leave but I was laughing really hard and convinced her to stay.

The second one is the best. Laughed my arse off in the theater for that one. The opening scene alone was amazing.

Disaster movie

Decided to check this out since I've seen their other garbage movies. Holy frick it's awful. How did the studio even allow this to continue after the first dailies came out? Even the terrible straight to streaming Fast and Furious spoof that stars the Spectrum spokesman is better than this. I'm maybe 20 minutes in, haven't cracked a smile once, and they've already "spoofed" like 10 or 12 different movies and celebs with a never ending stream of some of the worst jokes ever put to film. Also, Kim Kardashian makes Paris Hilton look like a legitimate actress. Even over 10 years ago she had already shot so much botox into her face she can barely change her expressions.

Who would have ever thought Simon Rex could be funny?

Every time he would immediately pop up after getting thrown out of a window had me cracking up
